If you are not satisfied as to how a bet or a market has been settled please provide full details of your grievance to us via email at info@betfair.com or via the relevant country-specific helpdesk email address. We will endeavour to respond to queries of this nature within a few days (but intend to respond in detail to all such queries within 14 days of receipt).

Betting Disputes - IBAS

If you have a betting or account transaction dispute, which you believe that Betfair has not satisfactorily resolved, you can approach IBAS (The Independent Betting Adjudication Service). IBAS is a third party organisation offering independent adjudication in relation to betting and gaming disputes.

The Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner

If you are a UK registered customer and have made a complaint to Betfair in relation to the exchange and you feel that Betfair's final decision about your dispute was not dealt with satisfactorily, you may also refer a complaint to the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner (“GGC”).The GGC’s advice to complainants can be found here.

Non-UK Registered Customers and Maltese based products

The Lotteries and Gaming Authority

If you have made a complaint to Betfair in relation to one of our Maltese licensed products and you feel that Betfair's final decision about your dispute was not dealt with satisfactorily, you can raise any unresolved dispute with the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority by emailing: complaints@lga.org.mt. The LGA have jurisdiction over Casino, Arcade, Exchange Games, Tote, Multiples and any non-UK registered customers using the betting platform.

Australian Exchange Markets, Tote, Multis and Tote Extra

The Tasmanian Gaming Commission

If you have made a complaint to Betfair in relation to:

  1. a betting exchange market on an Australian Event;
  2. an Australian tote market;
  3. an Australian "Multis" market; or
  4. an Australian "Tote Extra" market;

and you feel that Betfair's final decision about your dispute was not dealt with satisfactorily, you can raise any unresolved dispute with the Tasmanian Gaming Commission by emailing: betexchange@treasury.tas.gov.au.
