How to bet on Golf
Betting on Golf is simple on the Betfair Exchange. Browse over 57 Golf bets, choose a market, such as: Winner; MARKET_TYPES.TOUR_MATCHBET_NTIE2; MARKET_TYPES.TOUR_MATCHBET_NTIE8, and then either match a bet, or set the odds and place a Golf bet against others. You can bet for or against an outcome – e.g. if you're betting on DPW Tour Abu Dhabi Championship 2026, you can place a lay bet if you think Rory McIlroy will lose, or you can place a back bet if you think Rory McIlroy will win.
Understanding Golf Betting Odds
We show Golf betting odds on the Exchange in decimals. Golf decimal odds are easy to understand, because they represent the payout you'll get if you win – e.g. 8.1 means you'll receive 81 for every £10 you bet, including your stake, if the bet wins. The Golf odds shown in the blue boxes are set by the layers, and the odds shown in the pink boxes are set by the backers. As a Betfair member, you can ask for the Golf odds that you want.
