Timeform View

ROSSA RAHEEN looks to have got off lightly with just a 1 lb nudge for her Newbury second, particularly as the third has won since, and should prove hard to beat. Fellow unexposed 3-y-o Morven is second choice ahead of Henry Candy's Regal Charm, a good second in the mud at Newbury when last seen in the autumn.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Rossa Raheen traded at a low of 6.60 and Betfair SP of 28.60 when losing last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Regal Charm (IRE)
Low-mileage 4-y-o who won first time up last season. Ended 2025 with a good second of 12 in handicap at Newbury (1¼m, heavy) in October. Evidently goes well fresh and enters calculations.
Typical Woman
Ended 2025 with a small-field handicap win at Lingfield (9f) under Billy Loughnane in August. Hasn't fully fired in 3 outings this spring but back on that winning mark and Loughnane also returns to the saddle. A revival would come as no surprise.
Albus Anne
Two soft-ground wins at Bath (1m/1¼m) last autumn but ended 2025 with a couple of lesser runs. Might be best watched after 7 months off.
Jazzy Baby
Won 1m Kempton maiden in January. Reached the frame in 1m handicaps there on next 3 outings but her run of good form came to an abrupt halt last time. Tackles 1¼m and turf for the first time now.
Affection (FR)
Four wins at up to 1½m in France, the latest in a claimer at Salon-De-Provence (good) in April. Not obviously well handicapped for this British debut.
Morven (IRE)
Gleneagles filly who won a 1m Haydock maiden last autumn. Failed to figure in listed company on final 2-y-o start but resumed her progression when close second on 8.6f Wolverhampton handicap debut/reappearance 22 days ago. Likely to go well again.
Royal Poetry (IRE)
Lope de Vega filly who got off the mark in 4-runner novice at Wolverhampton. Improved again when second of 4 on her C&D handicap debut (good) last month but needs to shrug off a poor run at Newmarket since.
Rossa Raheen
Palace Pier filly who shaped very well when narrowly denied on her Newbury handicap debut (1¼m, good) last month, doing well to get so close having been held up in rear in a modestly-run race. The third has won since and she can show she's on a good mark.
