Cricket Betting Explained

Bet on Cricket, your way. Cricket on the Betfair Exchange lets you set the odds yourself on over 39 Cricket events. Bet on top markets like: Women's T20 Spring Challenge; Womens One Day Internationals; World Championship of Legends T20. Choose from over 19 Cricket competitions, and place a Cricket bet, either for an outcome (to Back) or against it (to Lay). Here on the Exchange, you can back or lay bets on markets like: "The Ashes - Series Winner"; "Indian Premier League - Winner"; "Test Matches - Series Score" and get the odds you want.

How to bet on Cricket

Betting on Cricket is simple on the Betfair Exchange. Browse over 136 Cricket bets, choose a market, such as: Match Odds; Series Winner; Tournament Winner, and then either match a bet, or set the odds and place a Cricket bet against others. You can bet for or against an outcome – e.g. if you're betting on Melbourne Renegades W v Melbourne Stars W, you can place a lay bet if you think Melbourne Renegades W will lose, or you can place a back bet if you think Melbourne Renegades W will win.

Understanding Cricket Betting Odds

We show Cricket betting odds on the Exchange in decimals. Cricket decimal odds are easy to understand, because they represent the payout you'll get if you win – e.g. 9.4 means you'll receive 94 for every £10 you bet, including your stake, if the bet wins. The Cricket odds shown in the blue boxes are set by the layers, and the odds shown in the pink boxes are set by the backers. As a Betfair member, you can ask for the Cricket odds that you want.
