Golf Betting Explained
Bet on Golf, your way. Golf on the Betfair Exchange lets you set the odds yourself on over 7 Golf events. Bet on top markets like: The Masters 2027; The Ryder Cup 2027; SAS Championship 2026. Choose from over 7 Golf competitions, and place a Golf bet, either for an outcome (to Back) or against it (to Lay). Here on the Exchange, you can back or lay bets on markets like: "The Masters 2027 - Winner"; "The Ryder Cup 2027 - Winner"; "SAS Championship 2026 - Winner" and get the odds you want.
How to bet on Golf
Betting on Golf is simple on the Betfair Exchange. Browse over 7 Golf bets, choose a market, such as: Winner, and then either match a bet, or set the odds and place a Golf bet against others. You can bet for or against an outcome – e.g. if you're betting on The Masters 2027, you can place a lay bet if you think Eugenio Chacarra will lose, or you can place a back bet if you think Eugenio Chacarra will win.
Understanding Golf Betting Odds
We show Golf betting odds on the Exchange in decimals. Golf decimal odds are easy to understand, because they represent the payout you'll get if you win – e.g. 8.2 means you'll receive 82 for every £10 you bet, including your stake, if the bet wins. The Golf odds shown in the blue boxes are set by the layers, and the odds shown in the pink boxes are set by the backers. As a Betfair member, you can ask for the Golf odds that you want.
