Timeform View

MOKATA has offered little in 3 starts but she's by far the least exposed here so could be worth chancing dropped to this basement level and trying a new trip. Banksman is 2 from 2 in classified events and hinted at a revival here recently, so is second choice ahead of Fai Fai, who has a solid record at Brighton.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Fai Fai traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Banksman has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Almavillalobas
Continues to show little.
Banksman
Back-to-back winner of similar events for Jack Channon last summer. Has struggled for current yard though at least offered something back at a more suitable trip when seventh here (1m) 11 days ago and claims if building on that back down in class.
Barnsnape Boy
A reproduction of the form he showed when making all over 5f here last summer would make him the one to beat but has struggled badly since.
Embarked (IRE)
Doncaster winner (1m) last summer but signs of decline this year and others make more appeal.
Fai Fai
Below par both starts this season but often runs well here so bounce back wouldn't at all surprise returned to a classified event.
Horus
Sole success came at Lingfield back in 2024. On the decline since but a reproduction of his form early in the year gives him a big chance at this level.
Pacific Prince
Little solid form.
Rainbow Sign
Narrow winner of a handicap here last season and has held his form this year. Respected.
Voodoo Ray (IRE)
Four-time winner here but is very limited nowadays.
Mokata
Cheap purchase who hasn't shown much in 3 starts. However, given a very considerate time at Windsor last time and probably capable of making an impact down markedly in class/trip. Tongue strap on 1st time.
