Timeform View

The market should prove highly informative but the vote goes to Dubawi filly STARLIGHT LASS who appeals on pedigree and is taken to make a winning start for John and Thady Gosden. Shushu shaped well when a clear Haydock runner-up and appeals as the pick of those with experience ahead of other newcomers Yimmna and Kino Plasmat who also bring a fair bit of potential in an intriguing maiden.

Timeform Comments

Esdaile
15,000 gns foal, Oasis Dream filly. Half-sister to 1¼m-1½m winner Jawhary. Noteworthy newcomer, especially if the market vibes are positive.
Kino Plasmat (IRE)
250,000 gns foal, Wootton Bassett filly. Half-sister to several winners, including high-class 7f-9f winner Waikuku, smart 1¼m winner Waipiro and useful winner up to 12.3f It's Good To Laugh. Lots to like on paper and in good hands.
La Mariposa
40/1, last of 5 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) on debut 55 days ago.
Quadrillion
Kingman filly who shaped with promise when third in novice at Newmarket (7f) on debut but beaten at odds-on when second in similar company at Leicester (7f) 10 months ago and not seen out since. Remains with potential though so not written off.
Shushu (IRE)
5/1, shaped well when a clear second of 5 in novice at Haydock (7f, soft) on debut 20 days ago. This Night of Thunder filly seems sure to progress. Firmly in the picture.
Starlight Lass
Dubawi filly. Dam, 2-y-o 1m winner, half-sister to high-class 1¼m-14.5f (St Leger) winner Logician out of useful 1m/8.3f winner Scuffle. Bred to be well above average so she's a likely player starting out for top stable.
Sterling Fortune
22/1, tenth of 14 in maiden at Kempton (7f) on debut 35 days ago. Lots more is needed from this Kameko filly.
Sugar Sugar (IRE)
Dream Ahead filly. Half-sister to several winners, including useful 7f-1¼m winner The Night Porter and 1¼m winner Kerry Icon. Dam 7f winner. Wears eyeshields. Considered debutante.
Too Too Divine (IRE)
Starman filly who took a step forward from her debut when fifth of 6 in novice over C&D 41 days ago, not knocked about. Open to further progress.
Victorian Rose (FR)
80/1, last of 8 in novice at Kempton (7f) on debut 21 days ago.
Yimmna (FR)
€650,000 yearling, Siyouni filly. Half-sister to useful French winner around 1¼m winner Audubon Park. Trainer’s newcomers always command respect.
