The progressive DARK ACE looked unlucky when going for the hat-trick at Newbury and he remains one to keep on the right side of with this race likely to be run to suit. Back Down Under and Toca Madera head the dangers.

Timeform Comments

Gazelle D'or (IRE)
Recorded 3 sprint handicap wins here last year, including 2 at this trip. Good efforts in useful events last 2 starts but mark has suffered as a result.
Toca Madera (IRE)
Edged down weights during a winless 2025 for Brian Meehan. Joined a yard that do well with new recruits and came good at the fourth attempt at Doncaster 3 weeks ago. Player.
Likedbymike (IRE)
Useful filly who has been competing well in listed events of late but she looks weighted up to her best back in a handicap.
Erosandpsyche (IRE)
Placed twice at listed level last season and worked his way back to form this year but others remain better treated.
Stag Night (IRE)
Back to very best when narrow winner over C&D in April (heavy) 7 weeks ago. Not disgraced back on faster ground at Navan since but ideally wants rain.
Eclairage (IRE)
Speedy front runner who was collared only on the line under this rider at Navan on return. Not seen to best effect either start since but she's likely to prove vulnerable at the business end in this big field.
Kerdos (IRE)
Useful gelding but without a success since the Temple Stakes at Haydock in 2024 for Clive Cox. Yet to fire this season (not the force of old) and was always behind on return to handicap company at Navan 3 weeks ago. Headgear back on.
Sarahmae (IRE)
Having fallen below her latest winning mark, she landed a gamble a shade cosily when dropped in grade at Cork this month. Defied a 10 lb rise in good style at Down Royal 9 days ago but looks vulnerable under a penalty in much better race.
Dark Ace (IRE)
Progressive sort who won at Wolverhampton and Lingfield this spring before excellent third when going for the hat-trick at Newbury 6 weeks ago (likely to have gone close without the interference). Should have this run to suit and could still be ahead of his mark.
Red Evolution (IRE)
Did well last season, excellent second in this before improving again when recording third win at Cork on final start in July. Shaped as if better for the run at Dundalk on return in March but off since, which is of slight concern given profile.
Moltophino (IRE)
Decisive winner over 6f here last spring. Mostly just respectable efforts in defeat since but showed up well for a long way here on return and should come on for that.
Back Down Under (IRE)
Dual course winner, including on 2025 return. Not given a hard time on this season's comeback and she duly left that well behind when good fourth of 22 here (6f) 5 weeks ago, just run out of things late on by a trio that raced away from her. Worth another go at 5f and player in first-time headgear.
Cuban Grey
Twice a winner over C&D last season and ran up to best when winning at Dundalk last month but well below par back on turf since.
Buddy Batt (IRE)
Recorded her third win from 4 starts at Dundalk in March but below par next 2 outings and still has to prove she's as effective on turf.
Shadow Of The Moon (IRE)
Landed the odds in Down Royal maiden last autumn and easily best effort in handicaps this year when good 2¼ lengths second of 6 to Sarahmae there 9 days ago. 5 lb better off with winner here.
Genesis (IRE)
As good as ever when successful in a big-field handicap here (6f) on return but has yet to build on that since, seeming unsuited by the drop to this trip at Cork latest. Headgear may help.
Harry's Hill
Looks on the downgrade and firmly up against it from out of the weights.
