Strong-travelling DIESEL LINE is fancied to open his account for the year, assuming he's none the worse for his fall at Uttoxeter. Course bumper winner Tilehurst looks the main danger.

Timeform Comments

Fidendum
Quirky sort has some notable names on his course CV. Chased home Wellington Arch here last year before beating now-thriving Edelak over C&D in May. Up 2 lb for his close third behind Crown of India on handicap bow at Worcester latest. May again find a few too good.
Granny Hawkins
Thriving mare typically travelled smoothly when making it a hat-trick in mares company at Stratford last time. Now taking on the boys off 6 lb higher in bid for 4-timer (18 lb higher mark than for first of those wins).
Tilehurst
Successful in course bumper on debut for Henry Daly. Went close a couple of times over hurdles for current yard at Worcester/Taunton since. Freshened up since below-par effort at Huntingdon in early-April, and he looks well worth another chance with Sean Bowen taking over.
Kaikoura (FR)
Maiden finished third in back-to-back handicaps at Wexford this time last year. Wasn't far below that form when fifth on final start for J. P. Dempsey last October. Hood back on for stable debut but his inflated British mark demands more.
Diesel Line (IRE)
Strong-travelling sort. Creditable fourth on C&D return prior to falling in bid for third 2m success at Uttoxeter in early-May. Has been given time to get over that, and he looks to have a leading chance at the weights.
Crown Of India (IRE)
Only denied a third Worcester success by a handicap debutant there last time, but he's tended to save his best for that track so far.
Applejack Poet (IRE)
Just a sole win over hurdles for Miss Elizabeth Doyle in Ireland. Outperformed unflattering odds (40/1) when third on stable debut/reappearance at Newton Abbot last time, though he was well positioned given how the race unfolded.
