KYLIAN shaped better than the result when denied a run at Newcastle and, off an attractive mark, he's taken to resume winning ways. Alligator Alley wasn’t seen to best effect at Redcar and will be a big threat if bouncing back at Southwell, where he boasts 3 C&D wins. Blinky shaped better last time and is on a handy mark if able to build on that.

Timeform Comments

Kylian (IRE)
Listed winner for Archie Watson last summer. Best effort for this stable when third in a well-contested handicap at Leicester (6f) in April. Much better than bare result when 2 lengths eighth of 14 to Al Shabab Storm at Newcastle last time (finished with running left). Big player.
Tropical Storm
Both wins in 5f listed races at York, the latest coming last spring. Stepped up on reappearance when third at Goodwood in May but ran poorly in first-time visor back at York last time. Has had breathing operation since and makes all-weather debut from handy mark.
Alligator Alley
3-time C&D winner who struck 4 times on all-weather towards end of last year, completing a hat-trick with success at Wolverhampton in December. Hasn't been in quite the same form since, though wasn't seen to best effect at Redcar last time.
Naana's Sparkle
Found some improvement when edging a tight finish at Yarmouth (5f) last month and not disgraced in stronger race since. This will require another step forward, however.
Rapper's Delight
Impressive when landing the odds in C&D novice in 2025. Mixed record in handicaps at Meydan early this year and shaped as if needing run on return from 4-months off at Newcastle last time. Likely to need further respite from the handicapper.
Canon's House
Won 4 times in 2025, including over C&D. Took a step back in right direction reverting to front-running tactics at Newcastle last time and has now dropped to last winning mark. Consistency remains an issue, though.
Buzz Box
A regular at Newcastle, winning both starts there in 2025. Shaped as if retaining ability on debut for new yard when 2 lengths fourth of 8 to Vantheman there on return from 11-month absence in January. Not seen since, however, and hard to know what to expect.
Cloud King
Chelmsford scorer last summer who looked unlucky a couple of times on the all-weather over winter. Faced a stiff task at Wolverhampton when last seen in December and returns in a more realistic grade. May need the outing.
Blinky (IRE)
Is only 2 lb above his last winning mark (which came over C&D) and turned in best effort of the year when 1¼ lengths fourth of 10 to Tricky Tel at Chester last month. Claims if able to build on that.
