Snooker Betting Explained

Bet on Snooker, your way. Snooker on the Betfair Exchange lets you set the odds yourself on over 8 Snooker events. Bet on top markets like: Shenzhen Open; World Championship; UK Championship. Choose from over 4 Snooker competitions, and place a Snooker bet, either for an outcome (to Back) or against it (to Lay). Here on the Exchange, you can back or lay bets on markets like: "Shenzhen Open - Winner"; "World Championship - Winner"; "UK Championship - Winner" and get the odds you want.

How to bet on Snooker

Betting on Snooker is simple on the Betfair Exchange. Browse over 40 Snooker bets, choose a market, such as: Outright Winner; MARKET_TYPES.FRAME_BY_FRAME_8; MARKET_TYPES.FRAME_BY_FRAME_7, and then either match a bet, or set the odds and place a Snooker bet against others. You can bet for or against an outcome – e.g. if you're betting on Jimmy Robertson v Chris Wakelin, you can place a lay bet if you think Jimmy Robertson will lose, or you can place a back bet if you think Jimmy Robertson will win.

Understanding Snooker Betting Odds

We show Snooker betting odds on the Exchange in decimals. Snooker decimal odds are easy to understand, because they represent the payout you'll get if you win – e.g. 4.5 means you'll receive 45 for every £10 you bet, including your stake, if the bet wins. The Snooker odds shown in the blue boxes are set by the layers, and the odds shown in the pink boxes are set by the backers. As a Betfair member, you can ask for the Snooker odds that you want.
