Timeform View

KING OF BERKSHIRE (IRE) won comfortably at Redcar in April and stuck on well when third at Windsor 18 days ago, shaping as if this step up in trip will be right up his street. He can go one better here. Rumbustious is bred to stay and may need this longer trip to show further improvement after solid efforts over shorter, while Myrrh could be better than recent form suggests.

Timeform Comments

King Of Berkshire (IRE)
Won a 1¼m handicap at Redcar in April then third of 7 over 11f at Windsor 18 days ago, sticking on as if this 1½m trip won't be a problem. In excellent hands and looks sure to run well from same mark.
Myrrh
Not progressed in handicaps yet this year but was better than the result when fourth of 8 at Redcar 18 days ago. Steps up to 1½m for the first time here and can do better at some stage.
Rumbustious
In frame both starts in handicaps, keeping on when fourth of 11 at Haydock 14 days ago. Steps up to 1½m for the first time and is bred to stay so finding the required progress isn't ruled out.
Wave Power (IRE)
Bred for middle distances but struggled making handicap debut on recent return from 7 months off and looks up against it in this company.
Forever Perfect
Off the mark at Wolverhampton over this trip in April and backed that up with good efforts when runner-up there next 2 starts, including when splitting subsequent winners on latter. Respected if proving as effective back on turf.
Fareenar (IRE)
Working her way back to form after 6 months off and ran better when sixth of 9 in a handicap at Beverley 24 days ago. Steps up to 1½m here but will need to improve further.
