Timeform View

MAGIC MUSIC stepped up considerably when third here last time and that race is working out well so she can get off the mark at the expense of Thapa VC and Finn Ironside, who both look on a good mark if things drop right.

Timeform Comments

Singoura
Has shown promise this year, including when fourth of 16 over C&D in April but temperament issues continue to hold her back and recent fourth of 9 at Carlisle 8 days ago demands more.
Finn Ironside
Twice a winner last year for this claimer, including over C&D and is working way back to good form this time around, finishing third of 16 here in April. Warrants respect from this mark.
Magic Music
Stepped up considerably on reappearance run when third of 10 over C&D in May. That form is working out quite well and she's got few miles on the clock for her age so is one to take seriously.
Super Hit (FR)
Without a win in 19 starts and hampered by running too freely since joining current yard in April, including when seventh of 11 at Bath 15 days ago. Hood back on may help him settle.
Amelia's Joy
Won twice on all-weather, most recently at Wolverhampton in April, and showed she was effective on turf when fourth of 8 at Catterick 16 days ago. Holds place claims.
Palmarian
Winless from 10 runs and yet to fire this season since joining from John & Thady Gosden in April. Free-going sort who drops in grade here but is hard to weigh up at present.
Highfield Sunshine (IRE)
Winless in 13 starts and shaped as if needing run when 11th of 12 returning from 6 months off at Catterick in April. First run since a breathing operation so has something to prove.
Age Of Baroque (FR)
Southwell winner for Marco Botti last year and is now 5 lb below that winning mark. Failed to stay over 9.5f when fifth of 8 at Wolverhampton last time and this drop back to 7f should help.
Mayo County
Clearly goes well at Redcar, placed twice there before winning an 11-runner handicap 12 days ago with a good bit to spare. 6 lb higher mark and a different track to contend with here.
Thapa Vc (IRE)
Better runs when in-frame efforts at Bath and Wolverhampton the last twice. Not getting a clear run and finishing with running left when fourth of 11 in handicap at latter track 5 days ago. Has won over C&D and merits respect from this mark.
Ziggy's Angel (FR)
Won at Newcastle on handicap debut last year but has regressed badly following wind surgery this time around. First-time cheekpieces applied with plenty to prove.
Langton Wold (IRE)
Ran well when second of 9 in a handicap chase at Catterick in 2024 but not seen since. Back on Flat for return from 536 days off and is easily opposed.
Bizarre Law
Won over C&D in a 16-runner handicap 21 days ago when making up lots of ground from the rear. Up 5 lb for that and isn't certain to be in the same mood again.
