Timeform View

TOYOTOMI ran his best race in Britain in a higher grade last time and can finally open his account for this yard having dropped to an attractive mark. Recent course winner Seven Questions remains handily treated and should be thereabouts again, while last year's winner Mister Bluebird can bounce back to form if turning out again quickly.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Brosay traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Fleetwater has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Toyotomi (FR)
Listed winner last spring when trained in France. Ran best race in Britain when third of 14 in handicap at Thirsk (6f, good, 14/1) 7 days ago. One to consider from a mark that has dropped 10 Ib since sent handicapping.
Seven Questions (IRE)
Had the headgear discarded and ended long losing run in 10-runner handicap at this course (5f, good) 16 days ago, under a more patient ride than of late. Returns to 6f and remains well treated on old form.
Brosay
Course winner as a juvenile and won twice for Paul Attwater last autumn. Never going well refitted with cheekpieces when down the field in handicap (12/1) at Carlisle (6f, good) 8 days ago. Blinkers back on and has dropped below last winning mark.
Jungle Drums (IRE)
Standout effort for this yard when dead-heating at Chelmsford in October. Probably needed run after 5 months off when sixteenth of 19 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to soft) in March but others more persuasive in any case.
Sturlasson (IRE)
Gained a third win of a productive autumn at Southwell in November. Ran well when second at Bath on penultimate start in May but bit below form at York next start. Makes a rare step back up to 6f down in grade.
Solar Aclaim (IRE)
C&D winner who was successful twice last summer. Has proven much too headstrong tackling 7f on both starts this season and will be well suited by this return to sprinting. Engaged 5.55 Epsom Saturday.
Mister Bluebird
Won this race last year before adding a 7f handicap at Yarmouth later in the summer. Runner-up over 7f at Musselburgh and this track on return to turf this season but struggled in a hot contest at Epsom on Friday.
Sudden Flight
Successful twice on the all-weather in 2025. Ran one of better races on turf when third of 7 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm) on reappearance 13 days ago. Has first-time cheekpieces added but the underlying feeling is he's better on a synthetic surface.
Fleetwater
Failed to add to her Windsor success last summer but well backed and got right back on track when second of 7 in handicap at Kempton (6f) in April. Back up in grade here in open company.
