TRIGG made an impressive start to life over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month and is narrowly preferred to Flying Ace, who boasts a similar profile. Should neither of those 2 give their running, the only other previous winner in the field, Kibris, is expected to capitalise.

Improved from hurdling debut when winning 7-runner maiden at Cartmel 11 days ago, drawing clear straight. Should be suited by this step up in trip on pedigree and looks open to further improvement.
Trigg
Bumper winner who created a good impression when making an impressive winning start over hurdles in a maiden at Uttoxeter last month. Did that easily and he looks well up to defying a penalty.
Kibris (IRE)
A fairly useful Flat winner. Has yet to run to that level over hurdles but got firmly back on track when winning a 13-runner extended 2m maiden at this course in May on debut for current connections. Receives an age allowance but not sure to be suited by the step up in trip.

Wings of Eagles gelding who shaped as if needing the run when 14 lengths fifth of 8 to Hold The Throw in bumper at this course last month. Switched yards ahead of hurdles debut.
Brewdog
Well beaten in bumper and 2 starts over hurdles here in recent months. Steps up in trip now.
Busted Springs
Well beaten both starts in bumpers and faces a stiff task on hurdling bow.

Cheap purchase who was down the field both starts in bumpers and looks firmly up against it upped in trip on hurdling bow.
