CONSULTATION couldn't do herself justice behind a next-time-out winner on debut and she's fancied to open her account at the second attempt. Black Cuillin showed good speed when running an inefficient race here on debut and should do better up in trip, while significant support for a newcomer is likely to be telling, in what hardly looks a deep maiden.

Timeform Comments

Bayside Way (IRE)
Foaled April 8. €16,000 yearling, £18,000 2-y-o, Bayside Boy filly. Half-sister to winner up to 7f Axel Jacklin and 2-y-o 6f winner Lin Chong. Dam 2-y-o 5f winner. Bred to be a 2-y-o but stable's newcomers have typically been needing their first run. Wears hood.
Bladey Lady (IRE)
Didn't build on her debut effort when well-held fourth of 7 at Ripon last time and may be better off in handicaps.
Consultation
Twilight Son filly. Dam, 7f winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Lockheed out of useful winner up to 8.5f (2-y-o 7f winner) Clinical. Wasn't seen to best effect when fifth of 6 (behind a subsequent winner) on debut at Wolverhampton and with improvement expected, she has a leading chance.
Fern Clyde
Settled better but could only match the form of her second start when third of 7 in a fairly thin Ripon novice last time and may be vulnerable to a less exposed one.
Flower Youmzain (IRE)
Foaled April 5. Ardad filly. Dam unraced out of useful 13f winner Bite of The Cherry. Stall 11 isn't ideal for a newcomer but the stable's juveniles are in good form and she's one to note if supported.
Khazamh (IRE)
Showed only greenness when (11/1) last of 9 in a maiden at Redcar on debut, losing many lengths at the start, and should at least know more second time up.
Pearl Grace
Foaled March 2. 35,000 gns yearling, Pinatubo filly. Half-sister to 1¼m winner Thundersquall and 2-y-o 1m-1¼m winner Explosion. Dam winner up to 1½m (2-y-o 7f winner). Bred to make an impact as a 2-y-o, though stable yet to have a juvenile win on debut this season.
Shaqra Diamond (IRE)
Foaled February 1. 20,000 gns yearling, Space Traveller filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including 10.7f winner Fixation and 1m winner Sense of Romance. Dam unraced. Yard has had a couple of juvenile winners in recent weeks and needs a close look in the betting.
Black Cuillin (IRE)
Far Above filly showed plenty of boot following a slow start when last of 4 in a 5f maiden here 5 weeks ago. She's entitled to do better for that run and could well be in the shake-up.
Cousin Rachel
Foaled February 25. Postponed filly. Closely related to useful winner Castle Stuart (2-y-o 8.3f winner) and 7f (including at 2 yrs) winner Reverberate. Dam, 2-y-o 7.5f winner, half-sister to smart winners Forest of Dean and Crown of Oaks. Makes some appeal on pedigree and market should guide.
Mohangel
Foaled January 18. 5,000 gns yearling, Mohaather filly. Dam, placed at 1m-1¼m, closely related to useful 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Infamous Angel. More likely to be one for the longer term.
