HARD TO BELIEVE went off a short price for his handicap debut at York and though he couldn't justify those odds, he's worth another chance on the strength of his Wolverhampton novice win. Irish raider Honouramongthieves and Mythical Bay are next on the shortlist in a race where it's hard to completely rule any of them out.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Glenna traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts: Cosmo Brown traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 3 starts.

Timeform Comments

Mythical Bay (IRE)
Off the mark in 5-runner Wolverhampton novice (9.5f) in January. Made a pleasing start in handicaps after 4 months off when runner-up at Chester last month and ran to similar level upped to this mark when third of 4 at Wolverhampton 2 weeks ago. Considered.
Hard To Believe (IRE)
Much improved when winning at Bath on his latter juvenile outing and progressed further when winning 5-runner novice at Wolverhampton in March. Below expectations in mid-field on handicap debut at York 4 weeks ago, but previous form has worked out well and he's worth another chance.
Impossible Mission
Won at Wolverhampton on all-weather in November and got back to form after a low-key start to 2026 when third of 11 in handicap at Haydock (1¼m, good to soft) 20 days ago. Longer trip here will suit.
Honouramongthieves
Raced only twice in handicaps so far and hinted that he had more to offer when a creditable sixth of 11 in handicap (4/1) at Killarney (11f, good) 30 days ago, finishing with running left after lacking a clear run. Could do better again with cheekpieces on 1st time.
Cosmo Brown (IRE)
Ghaiyyath colt showed improved form stepped up in trip when third of 12 in novice at Leicester (1¼m, firm) 17 days ago (also in first-time hood). Opening mark looks fair if he can find further progress for this even longer distance.
Barrister
Held his form without progressing in 3 novice runs, most recently when fourth of 10 at Kempton (11f) 15 days ago. Others make greater appeal on handicap debut.
Kindly Queen (IRE)
Took a step forward when fourth of 11 on handicap debut at Kempton (1½m) in March and confirmed that improvement switched to turf in first-time blinkers when runner-up at Windsor (11.4f, good to firm) last month. Place claims again from 3 lb higher.
Glenna (IRE)
Matched her form from last year when fourth of 9 on handicap debut/reappearance at Nottingham (1¼m) in April and took a step forward with the benefit of an easy lead when fifth of 14 in handicap at this course (1¼m, good) 27 days ago. Might face competition for the early pace here, though.
