Timeform View

A compelling case can be made for each of the quartet, but preference is for RICKETY BRIDGE, who has taken very well to this discipline and Paul Nicholls' 7-y-o can complete a C&D hat-trick with further progress in the offing. Court In A Storm made a promising start in this sphere recently and he's taken to edge out La Pinsonniere for the forecast spot.

Timeform Comments

La Pinsonniere (FR)
Useful ex-French performer who had her run of placings for current connections halted at 8 when mid-field at Haydock (3m, good) just under 5 weeks ago. Open to significant improvement over fences given hurdling exploits since chasing debut back in late-2023/24.
Court In A Storm (IRE)
Completed hat-trick (including a bumper win) when making all in a Uttoxeter novice hurdle in the autumn. Expensive to follow in handicaps thereafter, but bettered his hurdles form at the first time of asking over fences when runner-up at Worcester (23f) just over 2 weeks ago. Will progress.
Rickety Bridge (FR)
Point winner/successful hurdler who looked a natural when making a winning start to his chase career over C&D (good to soft) last month. Doubled his tally after a 3 lb rise back here just over 2 weeks ago and holds obvious claims of completing the hat-trick.
Dexperts Opinion (IRE)
Finished down the field on final start for M. Seror last October but having been sold for €13,000, made a successful British debut at long odds after 7 months off in 11-runner handicap hurdle at Worcester (23f, good) 3 weeks ago. This just a second chase start and he may well kick on.
