Timeform View

This is an appreciably deeper race than the one I'M DAN DARE won in good style on his recent stable debut at Catterick, but he's unexposed in handicaps with an emphasis on speed and is taken to overcome the rise in class. Forest Phoenix, Simba's Pride and Schrodinger's Cat are a trio of interesting rivals.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Angel Numbers traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Vinciamo traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Schrodinger's Cat
Deservedly opened his account in a Redcar (5f) novice on final start as a 2-y-o for Harry Charlton. Subsequently gelded and good efforts when runner-up first 2 starts this season. Run best excused over C&D since and remains one to view positively.
Ambishio (IRE)
Made a winning return at Southwell in January but followed a below-par run with an even worse one when down the field in 12-runner handicap at Thirsk (5f, good, 16/1) 12 days ago. Something to prove now.
Angel Numbers (IRE)
Headstrong sort who has continued to progress as a 3-y-o despite racing too freely, posting a career best when runner-up in 9-runner event at Bath in April. Below par at Goodwood latest but could be better suited to this bigger-field scenario.
Straight Ahead
Finished 2025 by landing back-to-back 5f nurseries at Newcastle and shaped encouragingly on his recent return from 5 months off at Thirsk. Entitled to strip fitter and needs considering.
Forest Phoenix
Showed improved form dropped to the minimum trip when opening account in 6-runner novice at Catterick (5f, good to firm) 13 days ago by neck from Vinciamo. Did it cosily and could well have more to offer now sent handicapping.
Bravo Hotel
Just one standout effort from a handful of starts in 2025 and needs a big step forward on this return to action.
Empress Olivia
Has returned an improved model in 2026, confirming reappearance promise as she landed 13-runner handicap at Ripon (6f) in April. Caught out by draw/track position at Ascot since but showed an awkward side when fourth of 13 at Thirsk last week. Cheekpieces go on.
Houndhill
Showed improved form dropped in grade and fitted with a first-time visor when off the mark in 12-runner handicap at Newcastle (5f, 3/1) 24 days ago, always holding on. Has claims from a 6 lb higher mark if reproducing that effort back on turf.
Yellow Diamonds (IRE)
Progressed as a juvenile, culminating with a win at Musselburgh last October. Unseated her rider before the start and was well held on stable debut/reappearance at Beverley but had no excuses at Haydock since.
Vinciamo
Lightly-raced maiden who got back to the sort of form (following a breathing operation) he'd shown on debut for previous stable when neck second of 6 to Forest Phoenix in 5f novice at Catterick (good to firm, 9/2) 13 days ago. Switches to handicap company and now needs to prove he can back that up.
Under The Radar (IRE)
Juvenile winner who shaped better than the distance beaten suggests when sixth of 12 in 5f handicap at Thirsk (good, 22/1) 12 days ago, not ideally placed on the near-side flank. Not one to write off.
Simba's Pride
Bred to be a sprinter and left his qualifying form behind returned to 6f when making a successful handicap debut at Hamilton in May. Quickly gained compensation for his narrow defeat at Ripon when winning 11-runner handicap back there just over a fortnight ago. Likely has more to offer at 5f.
Rotokura Belle
Proved better than ever when doubling career tally at Catterick (5f) in April. Denied a clear run over same C&D 2 weeks later and not disgraced back on all-weather at Wolverhampton latest but may find this too competitive.
Adalida
Got back on the up on her first start at the minimum trip when ready winner of 8-runner handicap (2/1) at Lingfield (5f, good to firm) 25 days ago. Stall 14 probably not ideal but remains unexposed at 5f.
I'm Dan Dare
Produced a career best on first run for this yard (previously with Adrian Nicholls) when opening account in 9-runner handicap at Catterick (5f, good to firm) 13 days ago, looking at home back at 5f under quick conditions. Tackles stronger opposition but remains unexposed with an emphasis on speed.
