Timeform View

C&D winner MIRACULOUS needs to shrug off a couple of lesser displays, yet those exploits came on straight tracks and having caught the eye when finishing an encouraging fifth in a C&D handicap previously, a much better showing would come as no surprise from his career-low mark. Ascot scorer Bolo Neighs remains less exposed than most and merits serious consideration, whilst admirable 8-y-o Baldomero and Station X also command respect.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Bolo Neighs traded at a high of 12.50 and Betfair SP of 11.76 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Bolo Neighs (IRE)
Useful juvenile in 2024 who has been lightly campaigned since and bounced back to best when defying a sliding mark at Ascot (6f, good to firm) 5 weeks ago, well suited by a stiff test at the trip. 4 lb rise should see him competitive again and he's well drawn in stall 3.
Baldomero (IRE)
Ended 2025 on a high, registering 3 more all-weather victories to his tally and went a long way to confirming his return to form when running on third at Doncaster (5f) 7 days ago. Forecast easier ground in his favour here and the return to 6f will certainly hold no fears. Respected.
Station X
Deservedly back on the scoresheet when making all at Southwell (6f) in April. Far from disgraced in 2 subsequent runs, arguably paying the price for not getting his own way in front when fourth at Carlisle (5f, soft) 4 days ago. Returns to 6f with plum draw to operate from so another holding claims.
Brummell (IRE)
Added 3 more wins over 5f last year and returned from 6 months off/following breathing operation with an encouraging third at Doncaster (6f) in May. That was up there with his best efforts at this trip but not in same form at Haydock since. Cheekpieces now reached for.
Accrual
5-y-o who scored twice over 6f on all-weather around the turn of the year but has been operating a little below that level since, including back on turf when beaten 6 lengths in to third at Haydock (5f) 23 days ago. Wide draw makes things tricky and likely he'll face competition on the front end.
Smart Vision
Won 3 times last year, latterly at Doncaster (5f, heavy) in October. Low-key efforts initially this term though, and whilst he showed more dash when ninth on his most recent run back at Doncaster, others appeal more back in a higher grade.
Havana Rum (IRE)
Back to winning ways from 4 lb lower mark at Chelmsford (5f) in December and posted just about his best effort yet following 3 months off when second from a poor draw at Pontefract (5f, soft) in April. However, not scaled same heights either start since and widest draw to contend with here.
Miraculous (IRE)
Dual winner for Roger Varian in 2025, including over C&D and posted most encouraging effort for new connections when fifth in a C&D handicap at the May meeting, likely he'd of been closer with a clearer passage. Not built on that in 2 runs since but he rates a possible reviver back on the Roodee.
Tough Enough
6-y-o who arrives on a losing run and struggled for consistency for present yard, failing to build on his Southwell second in April when tenth of 13 in handicap at Doncaster (6f) 8 days ago. This no easy task operating from out of the weights.
Ran Amok (IRE)
Gained a first success in handicaps at Doncaster (6f) last summer, though proved rather miss than hit otherwise in 2025. Reappearance fifth at Carlisle last month was solid enough but this is a much more demanding affair operating from 5 lb out of the weights. Had breathing operation.
