Timeform View

TELLHERTHENAME is penalised despite having to have only jump around at Cartmel last time but he was the best of these over hurdles and the impression remains that he'll prove at least as useful over fences. King Ulanda is 10 lb higher than for winning a thin race on his chase debut but can prove the biggest threat, whilst Ballykinlar still appeals as one who'll prove at least as capable over fences in time.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Tellherthename traded at a high of 1.30 and Betfair SP of 1.27 when winning last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Tellherthename (IRE)
Has been better than the result when mid-field in the County and Swinton Hurdles since joining Dan Skelton. Finished alone sent back over fences at Cartmel 3 weeks ago (jumped well) and he sets a clear standard under a penalty.
Ballykinlar (IRE)
A 3-time winner last summer for Donncha Duggan and wasn't disgraced in competitive handicaps at Cheltenham and Aintree on his first 2 starts for this yard. Seemed stretched by longer trip upped to 23f at Punchestown last time and he's the type to make a chaser for all point record is uninspiring.
King Ulanda (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler has the size to make a better chaser and duly confirmed himself at least as capable in this sphere when running out a wide margin winner of a 6-runner handicap (9/1) at Bangor (17f) on chase debut 4 weeks ago. That rather fell apart in behind, so 10 lb rise may demand more.
Tom Doniphon (FR)
Useful bumper performer who won a pair of 19f handicap hurdles at Taunton last winter. Shaped better than bare result at Aintree on chase bow/return but down the field at Exeter since and likely best watched after 6 months off having left the Hobbs & White yard.
Ice In The Veins (IRE)
Won a pair of small-field novice hurdles in November. Below that level in handicaps after subsequently and was found to have bled when disappointing (very well backed) on chase debut last month. Since sold cheaply by the Skelton yard, which is highly off-putting.
