Timeform View

SUMMERGROUNDS could be dangerous back under less testing conditions following a short break, and he gets the vote in a trappy event. Supreme Yeats arrives in the form of his life and has to be feared, while hat-trick seeking Il Va de Soi cannot be discounted if allowed the run of the race on yard debut.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Summergrounds traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Supreme Yeats (IRE)
Cashed in on a handy mark with back-to-back wins at Newton Abbot (3¼m) before underlining his rude health when third on hat-trick bid at Hexham (23f). Return of blinkers may help dropping back in trip (all wins to date over further) and he has good claims of regaining the winning thread.
Il Va De Soi (FR)
Capitalised on his much-reduced mark with all-the-way wins in a pair of Warwick handicaps (21f) last month and while it's hardly a positive that he's since been sold out of the excellent Harry Derham yard for only £12,000, he could again dominate in his bid for a hat-trick.
Crystal Glance
Better than ever when notching her fifth career success (and second win at this track) over C&D on return last month. Hard to knock her strike rate, though an 8 lb rise looks on the harsh side and she's possibly at her best when fresh.
Summergrounds
Twice chased home a fairly useful sort at Perth prior to making it a hat-trick of runner-up finishes at Sedgefield in December. Below form both starts this year, but the ground was against him at Ayr last time and he's well worth another chance off a short break (has a fine record fresh).
