Preference is for recent course winner START ME UP, who remains on a workable mark and promises to be suited by the return to this longer trip. The Resdev Scholar and Do Bronxs are feared most.

Timeform Comments

Sovereign Ocean (IRE)
Decisive winner of 7f Wolverhampton nursery last winter on debut for current yard and ran to similar level, back from 6 months off, when creditable sixth of 10 in handicap at Sandown (7f, good, 6/1) 14 days ago. Entitled to build on that.
Do Bronxs (IRE)
Returned to form when good second of 9 in handicap over similar trip at this course 14 days ago, having run of race. Can race off same mark here and ought to go well again.
Daydreama
Dual 6f winner last year who posted career-best effort when second at York (7f) last month. That form hasn't really worked out, though, and he has been below par since.
First Time (IRE)
Won a 6f Newmarket maiden last summer and ended his 2-y-o campaign with a good second in 7f Newcastle nursery in October (final start for Harry Charlton). Back on the up when good sixth of 22 in handicap at York (6f, good to firm, 100/1) 14 days ago and is not ruled out here.
Astrazar (IRE)
Failed to win over 5f/6f on his first 5 starts but 2-2 when stepped up to 7f last autumn, including a valuable conditions event at York. Yet to really fire this term, however, and others look better treated.
Cool Molly (IRE)
Different proposition this year, registering her fourth all-weather success at Southwell (7f) in April. Posted good third on turf debut here next time and back to that sort of form when respectable sixth of 12 in handicap at York (6f, good) 15 days ago. Warrants respect.
Bright Summer (IRE)
Confirmed debut promise when winning Lingfield novice in good style over this trip last month. Ran too bad to be true at Salisbury since and may have more to offer now sent handicapping.
Start Me Up
Looked suited by emphasis on stamina (also gelded) when winning 8-runner handicap at this course (6f, soft, 16/1) 15 days ago. 5 lb higher now but step back up in trip may see further improvement.
Vidmiyr (IRE)
NON RUNNER.
The Resdev Scholar (IRE)
Ended 2025 on a roll and back on the up when good second of 7 in handicap over similar trip at this course 15 days ago, clear of rest. Not taken lightly.
