Fair maiden on Flat. Placed twice over hurdles since last seen on the level, but ran poorly when last of 3 in maiden at Plumpton (21f, good) last month, going in snatches. Not totally discounted back in this sphere.
Sneaky Blinder (FR)
Successful twice at this course and his latest victory came at Wolverhampton in March. Below form since and has yet to win off a mark this high.
Balgowan (IRE)
Has been in good form this season, winning on the all-weather at Lingfield (2m) in April before bumping into one taking a step forward at that track on the turf in May. Has to be taken seriously in this company.
Our Papa Smurf
A winner at Goodwood in 2024. Successful over hurdles at Plumpton in January but well held both starts since. Has a bit to prove now back on the level.
Break Point
Modest maiden on Flat. Wasn't disgraced when just over 4 lengths last of 3 in handicap hurdle at Fontwell (2¼m, good) 19 days ago. Place claims.
Golden Samba
Poor maiden on balance. Best effort when having run of the race at Lingfield (2m, good to firm) in May. Went off too hard when well held at Pontefract earlier this month. Looks the pace angle back on the all-weather (polytrack debut).
Apache Eagle
Long-standing maiden being kept busy this season, placed on 5 occasions. However, he hasn't produced much on his last 2 completed starts and can be overlooked this time.
