Timeform View

SHARP MOVE quickly put daylight between himself and the rest at Newcastle in November and this 4-y-o can take the next step up the ladder on his return. Tropbien has also made a promising start to his career and is second choice ahead of Hapiness.

Timeform Comments

Sharp Move (IRE)
Frankel colt who left his debut well behind when scoring by 7 lengths in 1¼m Newcastle maiden in November. Useful prospect for his top stable.
Digger One
Down the field in 2 bumpers 13 months apart and fared no better on Flat debut after a further 7 months off.
Frank Stamper
Fair form on the Flat for Jamie Osborne last year. Hasn't bettered modest form over hurdles for Warren Greatrex since. Reverts to the Flat on first outing for Tony Carroll.
Ice To Meet You
Has shown more temperament than ability in his 2 outings in recent weeks.
Sixty Plus (IRE)
Four-time hurdle winner for this yard but unlikely to be of real interest in this sphere until handicapping based on his first attempt at Goodwood 10 days ago.
Arklan (IRE)
34,000 gns Palace Pier gelding. Half-brother to 10.4f-1¾m winner Motazzen. The betting should help guide to expectations with this newcomer.
Far Far Out (IRE)
Well held in 2 outings for Roger Varian in the spring. Sold for 17,500 gns last month and gelded. Probably more one for handicaps after this.
Tropbien
Frankel colt who has shown promise on both starts, latterly fourth of 6 in maiden at Sandown (1¼m, good) 16 days ago. Open to improvement for leading yard.
Hapiness (IRE)
Camelot filly who showed plenty when second of 6 on debut at Chepstow (1¼m, good) in May but could only match that form when third of 5 in novice at Thirsk (1½m, good) 13 days ago. Early days but improvement will likely be needed to trouble Sharp Move.
