Timeform View

Useful hurdler IMPERO is entitled to improve for his first spin chasing at Kilbeggan where he gave a good sighter for a long way and could be the way to go over the consistent Scalpnagoon. The Willie Mullins pair Soir de Garde and Nadia's Boy could both do better now sent over fences but arrive with a bit to prove.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Scalpnagoon traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP, 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Impero (IRE)
Useful hurdler who showed aptitude for chasing (jumped soundly at the head of affairs) at Kilbeggan and should prove capable of better back down in trip. Could be the answer.
Nadia's Boy (IRE)
Successful on sole outing in points and likewise made a winning start in bumper and Listowel maiden hurdle. Missed 7 months and clearly not 100% on his return at Punchestown in April and quickly switches to chasing.
Scalpnagoon (IRE)
Fairly useful over hurdles and has translated that ability to chasing, placed once more when third at Roscommon (2m) 3 weeks ago, getting tired late in the day. Deserves a change of luck.
Soir De Garde (FR)
Chased home El Fabiolo in 5-runner minor event at Leopardstown in March and was booked for third when falling at the last at Cork next time. However, he ran no sort of race at the Punchestown Festival, jumping poorly, and needs to get back on track making chase debut.
Wendrock (FR)
Useful hurdler at up to 2½m, although finished last season out of sorts and made an inauspicious start over fences after 3 months off at Punchestown (25f). Down markedly in trip with cheekpieces fitted now.
William Tell (IRE)
Made a positive start to his hurdling career with a double at Cork and Thurles and ran his best race since at Punchestown (3m) 3 weeks ago. Down markedly in trip for chase debut.
