Timeform View

ANOTHER ABBOT proved better than ever when resuming winning ways at Yarmouth last month, form boosted by the runner-up since, and he can build on that effort to score again. Addison Grey isn't taken lightly, though, having been shaping up well this season, with Fleetwater also in the mix.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Egoli could be expected to race prominently. Of those in the front half of the betting forecast, Sudden Flight might be well positioned in a slowly run affair: Of the better-fancied horses, Another Abbot is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Addison Grey
Successful twice in 2025 and returned with a pair of good runner-up efforts to start the current campaign, beaten only by the subsequent Wokingham winner at Newmarket in May. Creditable fifth of 14 at Newbury last time and he's respected back down in grade.
Another Abbot (IRE)
Won twice in handicaps last year and confirmed promise of this season's reappearance when adding to his tally at Yarmouth last time, pulling clear with one who has won by a wide margin since. Could well be up to defying a 6 lb rise in the weights.
Jel Pepper (IRE)
Landed a 7f sales race at Newmarket in October but below form in listed races first 2 starts this season. Took a step back in the right direction when sixth of 10 on handicap debut at Windsor (6f) last time, though task is now to build on latest run.
Sudden Flight
Successful twice on all-weather in 2025. Rated lower on turf but has fared better than previously on this surface in 2 starts this season, in first-time cheekpieces when denied only close home at Goodwood 23 days ago.
Egoli
Maiden/novice winner last summer before finding things tougher in a pair of Grade 2 contests. Back on track when making the frame in a Kempton Group 3 in September, though after 8 months off (gelded) he was well held on handicap debut at Windsor 29 days ago.
Fleetwater
Ran well on 3 of first 4 outings this season, including when a close third of 7 at Goodwood early this month. Possibly found the race coming too soon when down the field at Windsor 8 days later, so she could fare better this time around.
Queue Dos
All 4 of her wins at Wolverhampton, the latest in December. Mixed form this season, though unsuited by testing conditions (also poorly drawn) at Lingfield on latest outing. Cheekpieces now refitted instead of blinkers but others still preferred up in class.
