Timeform View

JUMEIRAH STORM shaped well first time up when finishing behind a next-time-out winner at Salisbury and with improvement on the cards, William Knight's colt gets the verdict. Karl Burke is operating at a 33% strike rate with his 2-y-o debutants this season and his Launch Sequence may well give the selection most to think about. Sultan Darius and War Gaming round off the shortlist in a novice where the market should prove informative.

Timeform Comments

Agrippa (IRE)
Foaled April 7. €52,000 foal, 55,000 gns yearling, Naval Crown colt. Half-brother to 1m winner Swan Band. Yard 5-34 this season with 2-y-o debutants at time of writing.
Beauty For Love (IRE)
Blue Point colt who had clearly learnt plenty from debut 6 weeks earlier and left that form behind upped in trip when third of 6 in maiden at Ayr (6f, good to soft) just under a fortnight ago.
Blue Faith (IRE)
Foaled January 29. £100,000 yearling, Blue Point colt. Dam unraced half-sister to very smart 7f-8.3f winner Penitent and useful 2-y-o 5f-6f winner Supplicant.
Brondesbury (IRE)
Foaled February 10. 58,000 gns yearling, Dark Angel colt. Dam winner up to 5.4f (including at 2 yrs), runner-up in Nunthorpe Stakes.
Give Hand (IRE)
NON RUNNER.
Jumeirah Storm (IRE)
Lucky Vega colt who shaped well when fourth of 11 in novice at Salisbury (6f, good) on debut just under 3 weeks ago, finishing just about best of all from out the back. Open to improvement with that under his belt.
Keep Kicking On (IRE)
Showed the benefit of his debut run in May when third of 6 in novice at Haydock (6f, soft) only 12 days later. Another step forward required in this contest.
Launch Sequence (IRE)
Foaled March 31. 58,000 gns yearling, £160,000 2-y-o, Mehmas colt. Half-brother to useful 6f winner Unique Journey. Dam, 8.5f winner, half-sister to smart 5f-6f winner Roulston Scar. Yard 12-36 this season with 2-y-o debutants at time of writing.
Mobadir (IRE)
No Nay Never colt who ran to a similar level as on debut when last of 6 in novice at Goodwood (6f, soft) last month. First-time hood applied but looks one for nurseries after this.
No More Pino (IRE)
Blue Point colt who was hooded for his debut and showed ability when fifth of 11 in novice at Salisbury (6f, heavy) last month, doing well to beat as many as he did after clipping heels badly early. Should do better with that behind him.
Sultan Darius (IRE)
Starspangledbanner colt who was tongue tied for his debut and offered something to work on when fourth of 13 in maiden at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 11 days ago. Open to improvement.
War Gaming (IRE)
Foaled April 8. £85,000 yearling, Mehmas gelding. Half-brother to 7f winner Gaasyah. Wears cheekpieces. Newcomer to note.
