Timeform View

A useful rated event to conclude. OCEAN'S BREATH did it nicely in a similar race at Fairyhouse last time and is narrowly preferred to dual Cork scorer L L Koulsty. Sir Benji looks capable of better but this much shorter trip asks a different question.

Timeform Comments

Suzie Songs (IRE)
Group 3 winner last June but ended last season on a low note and recorded another poor effort in Leopardstown Group 3 on reappearance 12 weeks ago. Tongue tie is reached for now.
Yaupon De Replay (USA)
Won a 6f Fairyhouse listed race on debut last autumn. Fair fourth in 7f Leopardstown Group 3 next time but never involved in another Group 3 at Chantilly (5.5f) on reappearance in April. Back up in trip now.
Frescobaldi (IRE)
Won Convivial maiden at York (7f) last summer for Aidan O'Brien but failed to kick on switched to listed races since, including on both outings for current connections this year. Gelded since last seen.
Ocean's Breath (IRE)
Won a 6f Dundalk maiden on reappearance and shrugged off a lesser run in a 6f course handicap next time when winning 7f Fairyhouse rated event 4 weeks ago. First-time tongue tie worn then is retained. Leading claims.
L L Koulsty (IRE)
Produced a career best when making all in 7f Cork handicap (soft) 46 days ago. Did that readily and likely to have a big say if in similar form.
Sir Benji (IRE)
Cosily landed 13-runner maiden at Navan (1¼m, heavy) on debut and stepped up from that performance when 5¾ lengths third of 5 in auction event at Roscommon (10.5f) in May. Much shorter trip now but there is plenty of speed in his pedigree.
