Timeform View

SANDY CRAIC bounced back from a troubled run at Musselburgh to get off the mark at Carlisle 19 days ago, showing a good attitude in the process, and she can continue her progress upped in trip. Porth Eilian is lightly raced and looks capable of further improvement, while Ma Leila's reappearance from is working out well and she can figure on handicap debut.

Timeform Comments

Cancelled (IRE)
Creditable third of 8 at Haydock in April but was below form when fifth of 8 at Hamilton in May, not for the first time finishing weakly after travelling well. Now tries first-time cheekpieces and drops back in trip and grade.
Alessia Fernanda (IRE)
Won on reappearance at Southwell in April but has gone backwards since, struggling back on turf over 7f last time. Back up in trip here but others look more persuasive.
Porth Eilian
Won a 3-runner handicap at Hamilton (1m) in May and ran to a similar level when third of 6 there 17 days ago. Lightly raced with just 5 starts under her belt so is capable of resuming her progression for stable going great guns.
Lexington Express (IRE)
Won 3 times on all-weather this spring, all from the front, but found things tougher after a rise in the weights last time and now has turf to contend with, while she's also far from certain to get her own way out in front.
Enamorus (IRE)
Lightly raced but yet to progress in handicaps, though she went off too hard when ending up down the field at Sandown last time. First-time cheekpieces now applied as she steps up in trip and hails from a stable in form.
Come On Eibhlin (IRE)
Placed twice before recent creditable fourth of 6 at Newmarket, though she did enjoy the run of things from the front that day. Likely to give running back down in grade but may again find a couple too strong.
Sandy Craic (IRE)
Met trouble when fifth at Musselburgh on sole start in cheekpieces but quickly bounced back to get off the mark at Carlisle 19 days ago, showing a good attitude. Only 2 lb higher for that success and should be bang there if seeing out the step up in trip.
Sogniamo
Won a weak novice at Hamilton (80/1) on stable debut after 10 months off in May but struggled on handicap debut last month and needs progress from this mark. Now drops back in trip.
Vitality (IRE)
Best effort when second of 9 at Epsom in April which is proving quite strong form, but she's been much too free last 2 outings, including when sixth of 10 in a handicap at Nottingham last time and needs to settle a lot better to figure here.
Ma Leila
Lightly-raced filly who returned from 6 months off with a third of 9 in a maiden at Thirsk last month. Both the winner and second from that race have won since to give strength to the form and this step back up in trip looks sure to suit on handicap debut so she's respected.
