Timeform View

LILLIE MARGOT built on her encouraging handicap debut when scoring at Nottingham last month and still looks feasibly treated. She can go in again. Kalokalo and Areti head the list of dangers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Sovereign Bay traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Pepsea traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Areti
Returned to form when creditable second of 5 in novice (9/4) at Newmarket (7f, good) 10 days ago. Looks fairly treated on handicap debut and is one for the shortlist.
Constant Star (IRE)
Confirmed debut promise when going one better in 7f Wolverhampton maiden in April but ran poorly on handicap/turf debut at Windsor since. Needs to bounce back.
Pepsea (IRE)
Showed fair form in maidens/minor events, including when fourth of 6 at Beverley (1m, good to firm) 12 days ago. May have more to offer on handicap/tapeta debut.
Cliff Danger
Showed ability in all 3 starts thus far, particularly when fourth in a Nottingham novice (1¼m) in May. Likely improver now sent handicapping.
Alpine Culture
Lightly-raced maiden who found improvement when good fourth of 10 in handicap at Newbury (1m, good to soft, 9/2) 24 days ago, faring best of those ridden prominently. Cheekpieces on first time. Warrants respect.
Lillie Margot
Off the mark at fifth attempt when landing 10-runner handicap at Nottingham (1m, good to soft) 32 days ago. 5 lb rise looks manageable and she looks a big player on tapeta debut here.
Kalokalo (IRE)
Back to winning ways at Windsor last month and found further improvement when good second of 5 in handicap (4/5) at Nottingham (1¼m, good) 15 days ago. Enters calculations.
Picture Palace (IRE)
Much improved when third in Wetherby minor event (1m) in April. Not in quite same form on handicap bow at Hamilton since and cheekpieces now added for tapeta debut.
Decem Starr (IRE)
Switched to handicaps with cheekpieces added, found some improvement when fourth of 9 at Doncaster (1m) in May. Disappointed at Salisbury since, though, and others appeal more.
Lightning Glory (IRE)
Cost €165,000 as 2-y-o and has shown something to work on, fourth of 13 in maiden at Lingfield (1¼m) 31 days ago. Another who could improve for switch to handicap company, although opening mark looks stiff.
Paranjape
Found improvement when second on handicap debut here (6f) in April but hasn't been in same form since. Others are more convincing.
Sovereign Bay (FR)
Caught the eye on handicap debut when fourth of 11 at Haydock (1m) in May, enduring a nightmare passage and finishing with plenty left in the tank. Failed to build on that in the mud at Lingfield subsequently but can't be ruled out. First-time cheekpieces/tongue tie applied.
Lightening Lad
Encouraging second in a 7f Newcastle maiden on debut but seemingly gone the wrong way since, running poorly at Redcar on handicap debut last month.
Just A Gambler (IRE)
Made a winning reappearance after being gelded at Chelmsford (1m) in March and backed that up when third at Kempton 13 days later. Best effort since when creditable fifth of 10 in handicap over longer trip at Wolverhampton 7 days ago but rather looks summed up by his mark.
