Timeform View

LIGHT UP THE DARK has been progressive, winning 4 of her 8 career starts, and makes plenty of appeal stepping up to conditions company for the first time. Tounsivator has gone well fresh in the past and will provide stiff opposition if giving his running, while Royal Hollow ran well when narrowly denied at Ballinrobe 16 days ago and is also respected.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Light Up The Dark traded at a high of 5.20 and Betfair SP of 5.00 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Royal Hollow (IRE)
Better known for her exploits over jumps but ran as well as she ever has in this sphere when neck second of 8 to Deressa in handicap at Ballinrobe 16 days ago. Obvious claims if reproducing that performance.
Light Up The Dark
Resumed progress in this sphere when cosily winning a 10-runner handicap at Gowran by 1¼ lengths from Zanahiyr. Still not fully exposed and looks set to make a bold bid to follow up.
Buddy One (IRE)
Useful jumper who landed a 13f Flat maiden at Ballinrobe last summer. Struggled for form over hurdles and fences in 2025/26 and has something to prove returning to this sphere.
Tounsivator (FR)
Useful hurdler who is also a multiple winner on the Flat, including at Tramore last summer. Has gone well fresh in the past and Colin Keane an eye-catching jockey booking. Very much respected.
Sir Callisto (IRE)
Produced a career best when winning at Dundalk in April. Good close second there later that month but well down the field back on turf last time. Hood back on.
Chutzpal (IRE)
Showed a fine attitude to win at Killarney before chasing home Reverend Hubert at Newmarket in 2025. Was never dangerous at the Curragh on return but should fare better with that under his belt.
Not Just Any Eagle (IRE)
Won Ladies handicap at Leopardstown last spring but has proven hit and miss since and hasn't really fired in 3 outings this year.
Pavilion End
Operating well below best this year and remains unproven on turf.
