Timeform View

DAKOTA BRAVE benefited from the step up to 7f when third at Newcastle on his latest outing and he can build on that effort to get off the mark. The main danger could be Lushill, who wasn't seen to best effect at this course last time, with Temple Court another to note as he goes over further.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Dakota Brave traded at a low of 3.25 and Betfair SP of 3.65 when losing last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Dakota Brave (IRE)
Upped to 7f for his third start, showed much improved form when ½-length third of 9 in maiden at Newcastle 13 days ago, leading until under 2f out. Can make a bold bid with his latest run behind him.
Hailstones In May (IRE)
Sent off at big odds (40/1) and didn't go with much promise first time up when twelfth of 13 in maiden at Windsor (5f) 23 days ago, always behind after a slow start. Has plenty to find upped in trip.
Mr Badger
Foaled March 31. 14,000 gns yearling, Showcasing colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including useful winner up to 6f Wedding Date and winner up to 6f Secret Potion (2-y-o 5f winner). Dam, maiden (stayed 7f), half-sister to 8.5f winner Perilous Pursuit.
Temple Court (IRE)
Prominent in the betting on debut but was very green when well held at Newmarket in May. Subsequently gelded and showed more when fourth of 11 in maiden at Bath (5.7f) last month. Bred to be suited by this longer trip, so he could take another step forward.
Ten Year Stretch (IRE)
Has looked one for the longer term in his 2 starts so far, failing to progress from debut when ninth of 11 in novice at Salisbury (6f) 8 days ago.
Boomshakalak
Foaled April 1. £15,000 foal, Walzertakt filly. Half-sister to French 1½m winner Adagio and German 1m-9.4f winner Against All Odds. Dam, German 8.5f winner, half-sister to useful 9.2f-11f winner Alcina. Has a fair standard to aim at on debut.
Golden Oasis
Very much in need of the experience on debut, but showed the benefit of that run when fifth of 11 in novice at Kempton (7f) 9 days ago. Will need to find more again.
Lushill (IRE)
Some encouragement on debut when mid-field in a Newbury novice last month, before meeting trouble in running when third of 8 at this course (6f) only 4 days later. Enters calculations as she goes up in trip.
