Timeform View

A match between BRUNHILDE and Lunella, with preference for the former having found just one too good on both recent turf outings. First-time cheekpieces go on, and she can put her experience to good use over Ollie Sangster's filly, who showed ability at Windsor recently and should progress with that under her belt.

Timeform Comments

Silk Mountain (IRE)
Has a jumps-orientated pedigree and showed promise when fourth of 6 in a course bumper in December. Has beaten just one rival in both subsequent starts and hard to see him featuring on Flat debut.
Battle Hymn (IRE)
Looked more in need of the experience than the market implied when fourth of 6 in novice at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in March on debut before finishing tailed off a couple of months later at Windsor. Off another 2 months and no surprise he's been gelded in the interim.
Brunhilde (IRE)
Night Of Thunder filly who has shown plenty of promise in each of her 3 starts, well suited by the step up in trip when second of 5 in maiden at Doncaster (1½m, firm) just under 3 weeks ago. Cheekpieces go on and this looks a golden opportunity to open her account.
Lunella (IRE)
Lope Y Fernandez filly who was hooded and showed ability when last of 3 in novice at Windsor (1¼m, good to firm) on debut just under 3 weeks ago, giving best only late on to a fairly useful pair. Should improve with that initial effort under her belt.
