Timeform View

Having been well backed with her debut run under her belt, POETS PRAISE wasn't seen to best effect when fourth in a Doncaster maiden on her final start as a 2-y-o in October, asked to come from a less-than-ideal position. In top and hands and appealing as a likely improver as a 3-y-o, she shades preference over One of The Boys who ran well when third on his return at Kempton recently. Korbut is another expected to be thereabouts.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Korbut traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: Carnival Of Light traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 2 starts.

Timeform Comments

Cullinan Wolf
Oasis Dream gelding who offered little making belated debut when last of 8 in a Doncaster novice (6f) 3 weeks ago. Likely one for handicaps further down the line.
Rua Mor (IRE)
Modest ex-Irish hurdler who caught the eye on qualifying run when fifth of 9 in maiden at this course (8.6f) last month. Hood goes on for first time in this sphere but low-grade handicaps more likely his thing.
Carnival Of Light
Was a cheap purchase given pedigree but offered something to work on when fourth on debut at Ripon (1m) in June. Did too much in front when filling same spot at Pontefract (1m) since but well drawn to go forward here on this much tighter track. Down in class.
Extended Credit
85,000 gns yearling, Lope Y Fernandez colt. Closely related to useful winner up to 7f Dubai Poet. Dam, 6f winner who stayed 1m, half-sister to very smart winner up to 1¾m (stayed 2m) Flag of Honour. Betting can prove a useful guide on debut.
One Of The Boys (IRE)
Son of Sioux Nation who offered something to work on when second on debut at Lingfield in November and following 7 months off (also gelded) again shaped with a little encouragement when a close-up third at Kempton (7f) 2 weeks ago. Feasible to think he can improve again on that evidence.
Ridger (IRE)
Merely hinted at ability when last of 6 in a Brighton maiden (6f) 4 weeks ago. Gelded subsequently and this promises to reveal more with a first-time hood now enlisted.
Sonbelievable
Green and no better than midfield in novice/maiden events at up to 1m on turf last month. Handicaps promise to be more his bag on the back of this qualifying run.
Time Alone (IRE)
€65,000 foal, Lucky Vega gelding. Half-brother to useful 2-y-o 7f winner Secret Time and 9.4f-11f winner Sabiano. Dam, 2-y-o 6f winner, sister to useful 2-y-o 7f winner Caprella. Wears tongue strap for debut and another warranting a market check for positive vibes.
Korbut
Runner-up three times from 5 starts in novice company to date, latterly when staying on in 9-runner contest at Kempton (7f) 2 weeks ago. Beginning to look exposed but she's well drawn in stall 1 and ought to be thereabouts again equipped with first-time cheekpieces.
Pink Pyjamas (IRE)
€22,000 yearling, Mohaather filly. Half-sister to several winners, including 2-y-o 6f winner Ingleby Ivy and 7.4f winner Shoot The Moon.
Poets Praise
Lope De Vega filly who was well backed with her debut behind her but not seen to best effect in coming from a less-than-ideal position when fourth of 6 in maiden at Doncaster (7f, heavy) in October. In leading hands and she remains capable of better as a 3-y-o.
