Timeform View

NOVAMAY put up a career-best effort when recording her fourth success at Ayr last month and having thrived this time last season, she earns the vote to follow up from 4 lb higher. James Tate looks to have a strong hand with Rose of Honour and Lady Kodiac and they head up the opposition, with last year's winner Shallow also worth mentioning, too.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Shallow traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Rose Of Honour (IRE)
Impressed when landing back-to-back all-weather events last September and justified support to make it 3-3 on return/handicap debut at Doncaster (6f). Possibly found shorter trip rather than softer ground against her in 5f Ayr listed event last month so can bounce back returned to 6f.
Novamay
Much improved in 2025, notching a hat-trick around this time. Has been working her way back this season and put up a career best to record a fourth success in 14-runner event at Ayr (6f, good to soft) last month. 4 lb higher here but that may not be enough to prevent the follow up.
Elara May
Fairly useful filly who gained her fourth victory with a career best in 10-runner nursery at Chelmsford (5f) back in October. Stuck to her task after racing apart from most for much of the way when fourth of 19 in listed company on Rowley course (6f) later that month and off since.
Angel Shared
Rattled off a C&D hat-trick last summer (all good to firm). Two good efforts at Bath this spring but below her best the last twice, doing too much too soon when 3½ lengths sixth of 7 to Powdering over C&D 3 weeks ago. Handicapper drops her a couple.
Lady Kodiac (IRE)
Landed a couple of 6f novices at Chelmsford last autumn. Mixed bag in a handful of starts this season but advanced her form further in defeat when second of 9 in handicap at Southwell (6f) last month. Fancied to have a say in proceedings.
Powdering (IRE)
Seen to much better advantage in a soundly-run race when winning 7-runner event over C&D 3 weeks ago by 1½ lengths from Shallow, leading final 1f. The suspicion is she may prove vulnerable from a 4 lb higher mark.
Shallow
Won this race last year (from 3 lb higher) but not tasted success since, but she again ran really well when second of 7 over C&D on penultimate start (Powdering winner). Not so good here last week and more severe headgear is reached for (first-time visor).
Sing The Blues (IRE)
Belatedly built on the promise she showed on debut when making all in a 6f novice at Goodwood (good to firm) in October. Amiss when pulled up on nursery bow the following month (sustained wounds and finished lame) and she's switched yards (for only 6,000gns) ahead of this return.
