CUZCO DU MATHAN is unbeaten in 3 starts over this C&D and can take advantage of a reduced mark now eased in grade with his reappearance behind him. Out On Her Own is a threat back down in trip, especially if allowed to build up a lead, with previous C&D winner Dexter another to consider.

Dual C&D winner in 2024. Struggled for form last summer but there were better signs when fourth in a well-contested race at Carlisle in March, before possibly in need of the outing when down the field here in June. Lurks on a dangerous mark.
Dexter (FR)
In good heart over fences last year, scoring over this C&D in August. Below form both starts this season but now on last winning mark as a result and yard has enjoyed some success of late.
Forsa Bay (IRE)
Modest maiden hurdler/chaser that ran poorly in first-time cheekpieces/tongue strap at Market Rasen in May. Visor back on and fully-fledged rider replaces inexperienced amateur.
Clean Getaway (IRE)
Capitalised on a drop in the weights when successful over fences at Sedgefield in April. Respectable 9¾ lengths third of 7 to Zumbi over this C&D in May but wasn't in same fom here last time.
Cawthorne Cracker (IRE)
Multiple winner over hurdles but yet to get his head in front as a chaser. Didn't shape too badly when third to Lheur De Gloire at Market Rasen in May but failed to back that up at Worcester last time. Can finish weakly and make mistakes.
Blazing Court (IRE)
Winning chaser who has gone with very little encouragement of late, typically making mistakes when pulled up in 25.5f event at this course last time.
Out On Her Own
Free-going maiden hurdler/chaser who ran herself out when fourth in a 21f handicap chase at this course last month. Return to shorter trip will suit and could take some pegging back if allowed to stride on.
Getaway Jewel (IRE)
Bounced back to form when ¾-length second of 10 to Person Of Interest in handicap chase at Uttoxeter 11 days ago. Raced from 2 lb out of the handicap that day but 5 lb rise still a concern, as is the quick turnaround.
