Timeform View

A well-contested handicap for the grade to conclude the card. MOJO EGO has stamina to prove back up in trip but he was strong at the line to deny an improving pair on his yard debut at Worcester 17 days ago and is of interest in his follow-up bid given he remains well treated on the pick of his form from several seasons back. Belvedere Blast heads the opposition having strongly suggested he's on the way back in recent months, while Modern Style and Arnie Moon are others to consider.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Prince Quattro has traded at more than 2 times Betfair SP twice when winning during its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Glory And Honour (IRE)
Veteran who returned to winning ways in reapplied blinkers in 6-runner handicap at Hexham (2m) in June. Not disgraced back over fences there 2 weeks later, but for how long he holds his form remains to be seen.
Prince Quattro (IRE)
Dual hurdles winner for current yard last summer and gained a second win on the level in 5-runner handicap at Newmarket (2m) 22 days ago. Consistent sort who should be suited by 2½m back in this code.
Belvedere Blast (IRE)
Quirky sort who lost his form after landing a fourth Market Rasen success last year. However, much better signs since returning from a 5-month break, keeping on well to be nearest at the finish at Uttoxeter (23f) last time. Back down in trip but has to enter calculations.
Arnie Moon
Much improved to make a winning handicap debut at Hereford (2m, good to soft) in March, forging clear. Took a heavy fall at Exeter next time and shaped as if need of a stiffer test returning from 10 weeks off at Worcester latest. Still unexposed and not ruled out up in trip.
Vivid Pink
Improved to get off the mark at Huntingdon in early November and progressed again to follow up over C&D 8 months later, suited by strong pace. 9 lb higher mark demands even more, though.
Ballygeary (IRE)
Quirky sort (carries head awkwardly) who merely extended long losing run when third in 7-runner handicap at Uttoxeter on most recent outing. Others preferred for win purposes.
Twist Of Fatecatch (FR)
Has been given a chance by the handicapper and ran well when third at Worcester (23f) in May. Not in the same form tried in a first-time visor at Uttoxeter the following month and usual headgear now back on.
Shesonnet (IRE)
Helped by the way things developed when successful on return/handicap debut at Warwick (21f) in May and quickly returned to a similar level when second at Worcester (2½m, good to soft) last time. Nudged up 2 lb. NON RUNNER.
Oneinthewell (IRE)
Irish bumper winner on debut for Thomas Cooper. Returned from a 5 month-break with a good second over C&D earlier in the month and again ran well behind a well-treated one at Worcester last week. Tends to jump left though, so returning to a right-handed track may not be ideal.
Nottodaybobo (IRE)
Benefited from a more positive ride when recording his first win (always holding on) for current connections over C&D in May. Followed up in a thin race at Fakenham and has more on his plate now.
Saxon Cross (IRE)
Points runner-up and fair form shown in bumpers in Ireland. Has shown signs of retaining ability for new yard, though backed out of things alarmingly quickly on handicap debut at Uttoxeter last month. Had breathing operation since and cheekpieces go on for 1st time.
Modern Style
Back-to-back winner at up to 19f in April and has run well in defeat on both subsequent outings, latterly when third of 5 at Warwick. Cheekpieces on for 1st time and expected to go well again with longer trip likely to suit.
Mojo Ego (IRE)
Capitalised on a much-reduced mark on first run since leaving James Moffatt in 9-runner handicap hurdle at Worcester (2m, good) 17 days ago, responding well to deny an improving pair. Stamina to prove back up in trip but remains well treated on old form.
