Timeform View

ABLETAI could be hard to beat if reproducing the form of his penultimate start at Naas. Bold Commander and Litmus Test are feared most following promising second-place finishes, while newcomer Atlantic Bridge is one to note for support.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

The Drambling Man has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 3 starts.

Timeform Comments

Abletai (IRE)
From a family yard knows well. Sets the standard on close third behind a now-useful pair at Naas (5f) second time up. Possibly did a bit too much too soon in listed race over same C&D subsequently. Group 1 entry is probably ambitious, but this is a good opportunity back in maiden company.
Atlantic Bridge (IRE)
€10,000 foal, €23,000 yearling, €300,000 2-y-o. Dubawi Legend colt. Half-brother to several winners, including useful 5f (including at 2 yrs) winner Ruby's Profit (2-y-o 5f winner, by Profitable) and 2-y-o 6.3f winner Between Hills. Dam maiden. Group 1 entered and needs a close look in the betting.
Bold Commander (IRE)
No Nay Never colt. Finished fifth behind a couple of next-time-out winners in solid course maiden on debut (6f). Took a step forward when 2½ lengths second at Bellewstown (5f) next time, looking far from the finished article. In excellent hands (holds Group 2 entry) and could improve again.
Invincible Irish (IRE)
Foaled April 27. Invincible Army gelding. Dam, placed at 6f/7f (stayed 1m), sister to useful 5f/6f winner Gold Filigree. More likely to be a longer-term prospect.
La Tache (IRE)
140,000 gns Mehmas colt. Shaped better than the bare result on debut here. Still in need of the experience when 1¼ lengths fourth in first-time blinkers at Fairyhouse (6f) subsequently. Will need to break better now tried over minimum trip, but he looks the stable first string on jockey bookings.
Litmus Test
160,000 Havana Grey colt. Found the penny dropping late when promising second (winner hasn't franked form) on debut at Dundalk in early-April. Very capable yard apply first-time cheekpieces/tongue strap for his return, and he should improve if ready to roll.
The Drambling Man (IRE)
Still looked to have plenty to learn when well-held sixth of 9 at Bellewstown (5f). Hood goes on but he likely needs more time.
Brageiro (IRE)
Foaled April 16. €120,000 yearling, Blue Point filly. Half-sister to stable's 2-y-o 7f winner Down The Glen. Dam, 1m winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Flaming Spear out of useful 2-y-o 7f winner Elshamms. Her half-sister was brought along steadily, and she may follow suit.
My Irish Lady (IRE)
€160,000 Minzaal filly. Sent off at 12/1 and shaped as if better for run when beaten 12½ lengths (behind Southern Boulevard) on debut at Naas (5f). Would need to leave that form well behind, though.
Southern Boulevard (IRE)
€110,000 No Nay Never filly. Did plenty wrong and was better than the beaten distance (9 lengths) on debut at Naas. Entitled to improve on that, though Colin Keane prefers La Tache.
Star Above Me (IRE)
Foaled March 17. €42,000 yearling, Starman filly. Dam maiden half-sister to useful 7f-8.3f winner Golden Stunner out of 2-y-o 5.3f winner Pina Colada. Probably one for the longer term.
Stellar Path (IRE)
Offered little in 2 starts. Tongue strap on for first time. Will be better off in low-grade nurseries.
