Timeform View

Paddy Twomey's CONCORDE LANDED looked a very good prospect when going in at the first time of asking in a maiden over C&D and can take this step up in class in her stride to thwart Shimmering Sun, who rates a big threat on the back of her Queen Mary seventh at Royal Ascot. Karl Burke's debut Beverley scorer Tropical Crown and Ger Lyon's Bellewstown victor April Mist also need considering in this cracking listed event.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Concorde Landed traded at a high of 2.86 and Betfair SP of 2.80 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

April Mist (IRE)
Cotai Glory filly who built on debut promise with cosy victory in 8-runner maiden at Bellewstown (5f) 19 days ago. Not out of things for her in-form yard with further progress on the cards.
Back To The Lodge (IRE)
20/1, eleventh of 14 in maiden at Cork (6f) on debut 38 days ago. Cheekpieces go on for 1st time and faces no easy ask.
Belle Of The Ball (IRE)
Made all in convincing fashion in 5f Cork maiden in May. Hooded and not disgraced when fading fourth of 6 in Airlie Stud Stakes at the Curragh (6f) 25 days ago. One to consider stepping back in trip.
Big Negotiator
Made it third time lucky in novice at York (5f) in June. Cheekpieces on and not disgraced since when midfield in Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and fourth of 10 in listed event over C&D. Possibilities with visor now tried instead of cheekpieces.
Concorde Landed (IRE)
Sioux Nation filly who created a good impression when a ready winner of 7-runner maiden over C&D on debut 18 days ago. This €200,000 breeze-up purchase holds a Lowther entry and rates a very interesting prospect here.
Eastern Queen (IRE)
Kodi Bear filly. Green but shaped well with fifth of 9 in maiden at Bellewstown (5f) on debut 9 days ago, never nearer. Should improve.
Shesthedevil (IRE)
Progressive Cotai Glory filly who landed 17-runner maiden at Navan (6f) 11 days ago, racing alone far side. This demands a lot more though.
Shimmering Sun (IRE)
Made a winning start in 5f novice at Salisbury in May and advanced her form when 3½ lengths seventh of 27 in Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot (5f) 35 days ago. Open to further improvement so rates a big player.
Silent Beauty (IRE)
€1,000,000 Night Of Thunder yearling, Impressed when getting off to a winning start in 6f Yarmouth maiden but only twenty third of 25 in Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot (6f) since. Worth another chance.
Tropical Crown (IRE)
£100,000 breeze-up purchase who comfortably landed 7-runner novice at Beverley (5f) on debut 19 days ago. This Perfect Power filly is in very good hands and has more to offer.
