Timeform View

A few with chances but SARGENT DENNIS looks the way to go on the back of a stylish breakthrough Windsor novice success with the prospect of more to come now stepping into handicaps. Ready Ripon scorer Lamlash Bay heads the list of dangers, while in-form duo Seeing Stars and Alfa Duplicate can both play a prominent role too.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Of those forecasted with a better chance, Alfa Duplicate could be most vulnerable in a race in which competition for the lead looks to be fierce: Such a hotly-contested pace as is on the cards here may be to the benefit of Sargent Dennis who is likely to make a challenge late.

Timeform Comments

Frio
Havana Grey colt who showed some promise when in frame for John & Sean Quinn on his first 2 runs and again for new yard with fourth of 10 in novice over C&D in May. Can do better now handicapping but others look better treated at these weights.
Bucklow Hill (IRE)
Debut winner of 6f maiden at Lingfield in January. Has twice failed to build on it though, gelded and tongue tied before a well-held third of 6 in novice at Leicester (6f) 19 days ago. Makes handicap debut.
Ay Up Duck
Looked to be on the up when bagging 7f course maiden in April but he's struggled in 3 handicaps since. Others appeal more.
Blue Orbit (IRE)
A fair 5f winner at 2yrs. Arrives in decent nick, fourth of 8 in handicap at Chepstow (6f) 20 days ago. No forlorn hope from a slipping mark.
Sargent Dennis (IRE)
Progressive type who built on earlier promise to land 12-runner novice at Windsor (6f) in May, well on top finish despite being carried left over 1f out. Interesting handicap debutant.
Alfa Duplicate (IRE)
Gained third win of 2026 at Beverley (5f) in May. Has continued in good nick, third of 11 in handicap at Chester (5f) 12 days ago. Needs considering.
Seeing Stars
Got off the mark in 7f maiden at Kempton in January and in good nick sent handicapping since, third of 10 in handicap here (7f) 20 days ago. Can go well again off an unchanged mark.
Lamlash Bay
Lightly-raced sort who took a big step forward on just his second handicap when readily making all in 9-runner event at Ripon (6f) 17 days ago. Up 5 lb but not taken lightly.
