COSTACURTA showed improved form when chasing home Garnacho in a novice chase at Wexford last time and is fancied to reverse the placings now 4 lb better off in a handicap, with this longer trip expected to suit. Garnacho impressed with his jumping that day and may have more to offer, so is the obvious danger, while Rexem could make his presence felt if stamina becomes a factor.

Fairly useful hurdler who ran a blinder when second in Listowel handicap in May and then managed to step up on that performance when winning a novice at Wexford on chasing debut last month by 2½ lengths from Costacurta. High on the shortlist.
Linden Arden (IRE)
Scored twice over hurdles at Punchestown last season. Only seventh of 8 back chasing at Limerick (2½m) in March though so something to prove returning from 4-month break.
Milan Forth (IRE)
Fairly useful 3-time winner over fences who won a handicap at Cork (2½m) in January. Took his form up a notch with a clear second of 14 in Kilbeggan handicap chase 16 days later but ran only respectably when fourth of 10 at same course last time. Wears first-time cheekpieces.
Costacurta (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler who found 2m inadequate on chase debut at Tramore in May but stepped up on that significantly when chasing home Garnacho in 19.5f novice at Wexford last time. Meets that rival on 4 lb better terms now tackling a handicap, with the slightly longer trip looking sure to suit.
Rexem (IRE)
Won claiming hurdle at Clonmel last season. In frame over both fences and hurdles on last 2 starts, 12 lengths fourth of 14 to in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan on latest. Good-value conditional booked back in a handicap chase but likely to require a well-run race at this trip.
Tullybeg (IRE)
Seventeen runs since last win in 2023 but offered a bit more encouragement when 17¾ lengths fifth of 13 at Ballinrobe last time. He's on a good mark if able to build on that but has never been one to rely on.
Clonbury Bridge (IRE)
Latest win in chase at Fairyhouse last season. Overall profile is very hit and miss, though, and ran poorly in a veteran's chase when last seen in May. A first-time visor replaces usual blinkers.
Typical Thomas (IRE)
Ran better than for a while returned to hurdling but rather typically failed to see his race out fully when 10 lengths fourth of 11 at Downpatrick (2¼m, good to firm) last month. Stamina to prove and others look stronger.
Freddie Robdal (IRE)
Runner-up twice in handicap hurdles at Thurles last season and ran well on return from 4-month break when 9¾ lengths fourth of 14 in handicap chase at Downpatrick despite going through the race in a laboured fashion.
Prince Palace (FR)
Has gone the wrong way since novice days and hasn't fared any better since joining current connections. Blinkers back on.
Grange Walk (IRE)
Back to form despite not being ideally placed when fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (21f, heavy) in April and backed that up with another creditable third of 13 in handicap chase (9/1) at Ballinrobe (2½m, good) in May. Below form back over hurdles last time, though.
Golden Temple (IRE)
Fairly useful winner at 2m on Flat and up to 21f over hurdles but offered no more than on his qualifying runs on his first start in a handicap over fences at Limerick in May. Failed to stay longer trip back over hurdles last time. Needs to step up markedly on previous chasing efforts.
