LEVEL UP has been hammering on the door recently and can break his run of seconds with an excellent-value claimer taking over. Savannah Smiles has a good course record and could give him most to think about, while So Smart is respected given he escapes a penalty for last week's win here.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Level Up traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Trafalger traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Trafalger
Still a maiden after 8 starts and shaped as if needing the run when eighth of 9 in a handicap at Windsor 25 days ago on debut for stable not renowned for Flat exploits following 9 months off. Hood now removed and drops back to 5f.
Savannah Smiles (IRE)
Back to best when scoring at Lingfield in June and not seen to best effect when second of 4 to So Smart over C&D 8 days ago (blindfold removed late and always up against it). 3-time course winner and is one to take seriously.
Level Up (IRE)
Plenty of wins in the past, including over C&D, but struggling to get head in front this year, finishing runner-up 5 times, including when going very close at Beverley last time. Good-value claimer now takes over and could prove the key to converting his consistency to a win.
So Smart (IRE)
C&D winner who scored again here in apprentice event 8 days ago, enjoying advantages when beating Savannah Smiles by 2 lengths in a field of 4. Turned out quickly to escape a penalty which gives him obvious claims, but that race probably wasn't strong.
Son Of Astar
Second of 9 over C&D in June when producing best effort of the season with blinkers reapplied, but only tenth of 14 at Bath last time and blinkers now removed.
Sundiata Keita (IRE)
Maiden after 13 runs and was last of 5 on stable debut in a handicap over 7f at Chepstow on recent return from 9 months off. Plenty to prove back down in trip.
River Edge
Poor form over C&D both starts since returning from 2 years off.
