Timeform View

SUMMER IS TOMORROW has benefited from the recent application of a visor, collared only on the line in a minor event at Navan last time, and he looks ready to get back to winning ways. The main danger could be Leopold The First as he makes only his second start at around this trip, ahead of Benevento.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Summer Is Tomorrow traded at a low of 1.25 and Betfair SP of 2.18 when losing last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Benevento (IRE)
Best effort when fourth in the Craven at Newmarket last year. Was strong in the betting sent handicapping on this season's return, but disappointed at Lingfield (7f) in February which proved to be his only run for Kevin Philippart de Foy. Watch for market clues after 5 months off.
Puppet Master (IRE)
Winner of the Lingfield Derby Trial for Aidan O'Brien last year. However, he hasn't gone with much promise in 3 starts for current yard, 2 of those outings over hurdles including when down the field in a Bellewstown novice 3 weeks ago.
Leopold The First (IRE)
Remains a maiden but has been knocking on the door with 4 consecutive runner-up finishes, beaten only by a subsequent Group 2 winner in 4-runner minor event here 6 weeks ago. Could be in the mix with more still to offer at around this trip.
Summer Is Tomorrow (IRE)
Dual winner at 2 yrs and has shown improved form fitted with a visor last 3 starts, runner-up in premier handicap at the Curragh last month before filling the same position in 5-runner minor event at Navan 2 weeks ago. Major player.
Hollys Graces (IRE)
Looked potentially useful when winning 7f Dundalk maiden in 2024 but didn't manage to kick on at a higher level last season. Met trouble on handicap/seasonal debut at Dundalk (1½m) in April, so this run should reveal more back down in trip with blinkers added.
Spicy Margarita (IRE)
Sole win came in 7f Dundalk maiden early last year. Showed more than previously this season when beaten 1¾ lengths in 6-runner listed race at the Curragh (1m) last month, but ran poorly in Group 3 there (1¼m) a week ago.
Ask Me Again
Quickly fitted with cheekpieces, left debut form well behind when fifth of 10 in maiden at Dundalk (1m) 13 days ago. Faces a tough ask in this contest, though, as he goes further up in trip.
Goddess Of War (SAF)
Vercingetorix filly. Dam South African Triple Crown winner up to 1½m. Interesting on paper, though yard's newcomers have tended to need their first run this season.
