Has worked his way back to form in 3 starts this season, capitalising on a falling mark when scoring readily in 7-runner handicap at Ripon last month. Remains well treated on old form and could be capable of following up.
Secret Oath (IRE)
Promising second on first of 2 outings for Charlie Appleby last summer. After 13 months off ahead of stable debut, shaped well when runner-up in 7f maiden at Chester 2 weeks ago and she can step forward from that outing back down in trip for handicap debut.
The Coffee Pod (IRE)
Mixed form for Richard Hannon in 2025 and, fitted with hood, has finished down the field both starts for present stable this season. Has dropped further in the weights but has something to prove at present.
The Caribbean (IRE)
Took advantage of drop into a class 6 when winning at Wolverhampton (7f) in December and backed that up when third there to start this year. However, was very slowly away next time, before possibly needing the run after 4 months off at Newbury (6f) in June.
Thunderous Love
Successful 5 times last year but yet to fully fire this season. However, she has had excuses, left poorly placed from her high draw at Newbury 16 days ago, and she's now eased to 8 lb below her last winning mark.
Maid In Devon
Showed improved form back up to 6f when getting off the mark over C&D in May. Followed up in good style here under testing conditions, before proving herself on firmer ground when scoring at Chepstow 22 days ago. Not taken lightly.
Lahina Bay (IRE)
3-time winner in 2025 and has got back on track with placed efforts the last twice, albeit having the benefit of a soft lead when second of 5 here 2 weeks ago. Has won twice over C&D and can give another good account.
Red Snapper
Off the mark at Bath on final outing last year and ran well when second on 2 of first 3 outings this season. Below form the last twice, though wasn't seen to best effect when never-nearer seventh of 12 at Wolverhampton 8 days ago. Blinkers replace regular cheekpieces.
May Encounter
Consistent rather than progressive in 2025 and has run to a similar level in 3 outings this season, though shaped better than the result after a slow start when mid-field at Leicester 3 weeks ago. Hood now reached for with apprentice taking off a handy 5 lb.
Cici's Secret
No better than mid-division in 3 starts last year for Paul Attwater, in first-time hood when sixth of 10 in maiden at Bath on final outing. Worth a market check as she makes handicap/stable debut returning from 11 months off.
