MY OLD MATE is going the right way and may well follow up last month's success over 1m here. Give Me Sun looks best of the rest.

Katalyst traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Give Me Sun has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Takeitorleaveit (IRE)
Gained a deserved second success of the season when scoring by short head from Katalyst at Nottingham (9f) 6 days ago. A 6-lb penalty probably prevents a follow up, though.
Katalyst
Followed a dismal effort with her best one yet when narrowly pipped by Takeitorleaveit at Nottingham (9f) last week. Weighted to reverse that form, though has an improving course winner to contend with.
My Old Mate (IRE)
Steadily progressive son of Wootton Bassett (out of Galileo mare) who went close over 1m here last month. Allowed his head/travelled with zest when going one better in good style over the same C&D last time. Should follow up if he stays the longer trip.
Rugby Union (USA)
Showed more than previously on handicap/stable debut when beaten 2¼ lengths at Wetherby (1¼m) last month. Clearly didn't give his running over same trip at Nottingham subsequently. Booking of Oisin Murphy offers some hope of a bounce back.
Time To Sparkle
Off the mark at Wolverhampton (8.5f) in March. Third in Yarmouth race that's worked out well before career-best second at Chepstow in late-May. Player if returning from 8 weeks off in same form.
Sweep In Time
Too free up in distance on handicap/turf debut at Epsom (1¼m) latest. This mark still demands more, though could have more to offer at this trip (by Time Test) if settling in refitted hood.
Thomas Picton (IRE)
Fared no better for the addition of headgear/switch to a handicap over 1m here in late-May. Longer trip a question mark, too.
Give Me Sun
Progressing gradually and shaped second best when close third in similar event at Wetherby (1¼m) last time. Looks one of the more likely winners.
