Timeform View

STAR OF MALI won a race at this track that is working out really well and a 3 lb rise for that leaves him well treated. Comic Hero also has strong recent form to his name and is proven on all-weather, while Feel The Need is another to consider back at this venue.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Korbut traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: White Crown Star traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Cogitate (IRE)
Only 2 wins to name and yet to score on all-weather but recent stable debut when fifth of 12 at Sandown was satisfactory and now faces a lower grade than he's encountered for a while.
Eminency (IRE)
A 3-time 6f/7f winner in the second half of 2025. Decent efforts in defeat this year, including when fourth of 18 on his return to turf at Newmarket 7 weeks ago. Not so good at Doncaster last time but now back down in grade returned to all-weather.
Padua (IRE)
Usually a free-going sort who was far too keen when last of 11 at Yarmouth on return from 10 months off. Returned to form when fourth of 10 in a 7f handicap at Epsom 26 days ago and holds place claims if not pulling his chance away returned to all-weather.
King Of Fury (IRE)
Won over C&D 22 days ago having proved too headstrong over longer distances this season. It could be that 7f is his ideal trip, but he'll need to take a step forward facing a 7 lb higher mark in a much better contest.
Shaman Champion (IRE)
Yet to fire this season for new connections and was last of 11 in a handicap at Ascot 17 days ago, having raced freely on first start over 1m. Makes his all-weather debut back down in trip with plenty to prove.
White Crown Star
Previously trained by Andrew Balding and won on all-weather on reappearance last year. Off 11 months and gelded before last month's flop on debut for this yard, though, and must have come on plenty for that.
Star Of Mali (IRE)
Free-going sort who has recorded both his wins over this C&D and his most recent success in June is working out extremely well. Only 3 lb higher and is one to take very seriously upped in grade.
Comic Hero (IRE)
Produced best effort to date when second of 9 in a handicap at Newmarket in May, bumping into a subsequent winner. Only sixth of 9 at Chester last month but didn't get a clear run and he already has an all-weather win to his name so he should go well here.
Feel The Need
Best effort this year when second of 8 over C&D from 2 lb higher mark in January. Mid-field in competitive events at York both starts since returning from 4 months off and could go well back at this track.
Chale Chalo (IRE)
Second of 8 over C&D in January but has struggled on turf in 2 runs since returning from a break. Return to all-weather could help.
Korbut
Has been second in 4 of last 5 starts, most recently at Wolverhampton in a maiden 10 days ago in first-time cheekpieces. Makes handicap debut with that equipment removed and needs progress in this deeper race.
