Last year's winner DIAMONDSINTHESAND hasn't shown a great deal this year, but his mark has been in freefall as a result so Adrian Wintle's 9-y-o could be worth chancing. Stablemate Legendsoftheland is put forward as the main danger arriving in the form of his life, with Symbol of Hope and My Mate Beattie taken to fight out minor honours.

Timeform Comments

Honour Your Dreams (FR)
Gave his all from a career-low mark when second at Lingfield (5f) early last month but disappointing both subsequent starts. Mark continues to ease but needs to show more before becoming of interest.
Legendsoftheland (IRE)
Consistent following gelding and breathing operations, shedding maiden tag in classified company at Wolverhampton in March. Further step forward when landing 13-runner handicap at Bath (5.7f) in May and matched that from 4 lb higher when third of 14 at latter track (5f) last month.
Barry The Worm
Wolverhampton scorer in November but below that level all 3 starts this year, not seen to best effect under a change of tactics at same track last month. Now 2 lb below his winning mark but does need to prove his effectiveness on turf.
Haworth Star (IRE)
Has just one success to his name from 21 starts and recent efforts hardly suggest he'll be adding to his tally soon. Hood reapplied.
Diamondsinthesand (IRE)
A 3-time winner last season (including this race) but has been operating below his best this campaign. Quickly reverts to sprinting having had a rare start over 1m last time and connections likely to have had this race circled (also finished runner-up in this back in 2023).
Smasher (IRE)
Both wins in 2025 came at Kempton and shaped as if in good form first 2 starts this year. Below form when last seen in March and a first-time tongue tie goes on for this extremely rare turf outing.
Macarone
Dual 6f winner for Ivan Furtado last autumn but well beaten in turf handicaps in recent weeks upon joining this yard.
My Mate Beattie (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who finished her race off better under more patient tactics when fifth of 10 in classified event at Brighton (7f, good) last month. Back sprinting but she's an easy swerve for win purposes.
Symbol Of Hope
On lengthy losing run but produced best effort for a while having rejoined former yard when third of 6 at Bath (5f, firm) just under a fortnight ago, having to work hard to only get to the lead inside the final 2f having not started well. Wouldn't be sure to build on that.
Aplaceinthesun
Signs of ability when third on last summer's debut in a 7f Yarmouth novice but well held next time (final start for Alice Haynes) and didn't show much in 2 starts for T. J. Kent. Again offered little for new connections at Bath in April and has been moved on again since. Drops back in trip.
