Timeform View

METHGAL shaped as if still in good form when finishing mid-field at Roscommon on final outing for P. J. F. Murphy last month and having joined a yard adept with improving similar types, Dylan Cunha's new recruit is selected to double his career tally. Thapa Vc is sure to be popular having opened his account for the campaign recently, so he's feared most, with Orange Emperor completing the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Thapa Vc traded at a high of 5.30 and Betfair SP of 5.40 when winning last time, a race in which it raced behind.

Noble Guest
Dual winner over this trip last season. Slipped to a handy mark and posted solid third of 9 at Newmarket last month but followed that with a laboured effort at Southwell (7f) since. Handicapper continues to ease his grip.
Thapa Vc (IRE)
Goes well at Doncaster and bounced back to form to score for the first time this year in 8-runner event there (7f, firm) 10 days ago, his style demanding some luck as usual. Nudged up 2 lb and likely to continue in form.
Rusheen Boy
Doubled his account for the season when winning a match over C&D last month. Harshly treated upped 5 lb for that and unable to get involved when fifth of 8 at Nottingham (8.3f, good to firm) a fortnight later. Handicapper possibly in charge for now.
Way To Dubai (IRE)
Good record at Lingfield, ending losing run there in January. Returned to form having dropped below his last winning mark when fourth of 10 at Thirsk (7f, good to firm) earlier in the month but strike rate tempers enthusiasm.
Methgal (IRE)
Opened his account at Dundalk in March and backed that up with a couple of runner-up efforts. Shaped as if still in good form when seventh of 15 at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 4 weeks ago and he looks an interesting runner on first start for new connections (6,000 gns buy). Worth chancing.
Minshaar
Opened account at Newcastle in November but ran poorly on first outing since leaving Richard Fahey (sold 7,000 gns) when last seen in March. Can only be watched at present.
Orange Emperor (IRE)
Fair maiden who wasn't disgraced when third of 4 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, good to firm) last month, his inexperienced rider rather letting things get away from him in the middle part of the race. Fully-fledged jockey back up and can get back on track returned to 7f.
Mayfair Market
Best form to date over 7f on the all-weather. Again finished well held over longer trip at Wolverhampton (8.5f) last time. Something to find at the weights, however, she isn't fully exposed back on turf.
El Carrusel
Has failed to win in low-grade handicaps and well beaten in Newmarket novice (1m, good to firm) on return 11 days ago. Cheekpieces reapplied for this return to a handicap.
