Shaped quite well when fourth in a Punchestown bumper (2m) on debut in May and did so again with the hood/tongue strap retained when third on Flat debut at Roscommon (1½m, good to soft) last month. May do better still.

Posted best effort in this sphere when runner-up in Down Royal maiden (13f, soft) last month. Below his smart best when 2 lengths second in Grimes Hurdle at Limerick latest. Remains low mileage in this sphere and definite claims.

Long-standing maiden on Flat who has been in better heart than recent form figures suggest over hurdles, 2 late errors doing him no favours at Ballinrobe 8 days ago. Still, likely to come up short on return to this sphere.

Le Havre gelding who displayed fairly useful form when landing first of his 3 starts in bumpers at Listowel in September 2023. Absent since but the fact his top National Hunt yard are persevering with him as a 9-y-o is surely significant and he needs monitoring.

Bettered previous exploits over hurdles by a considerable margin when fourth in a Roscommon maiden (2m) earlier this month but in nothing like the same form making handicap debut at Killarney (17f) 2 weeks ago. Passed over on Flat debut.
Hopes Are High (IRE)
Fair maiden in this sphere for John Joseph Murphy who made it 2 wins from first 3 starts over hurdles for new yard at Listowel (2m) in September. Posted a good second at Punchestown a month later and he may be able to translate that improvement back to the level now.
Nakassama (IRE)
Fair gelding who was runner up in this race 12 months ago and he comes here having been in good form over hurdles, resuming winning ways at Downpatrick in June. Good runner-up efforts since and he's another with each-way possibilities.
Silas Marner (IRE)
Long-standing maiden under various codes who ran poorly when last seen on the Flat 13 months ago. Passed over starting out for new stable.
Sunny South West (IRE)
Useful dual bumper winner who made a successful hurdles debut at Cork (17f) 12 months ago. Held form well in defeat next 3 starts and showed plenty when second on recent Flat debut at Killarney (14.2f). Expected to be thereabouts.
Kimy (FR)
Winning hurdler who is on a lengthy losing run but she offered more than previously in this sphere when second in a Tramore maiden (1½m) 3 weeks ago. Reportedly bled then but she's another with place claims if replicating that performance.
Run For Mahler (IRE)
Fair bumper winner who arrives having posted a career-best effort when doubling her tally over hurdles at Killarney (2½m) 2 weeks ago, rallying to lead dying strides. Intriguing contender switched to this sphere.
Abbotsford
Stepped up markedly on debut effort when head second of 10 to Atomic City in maiden at Cork (10.5f, heavy, 15/2) in May, the pair clear. Gelded since and this well-bred sort is open to further improvement up in trip.
Chairmanforlife (FR)
Built on debut sixth with fourth of 10 in maiden at Ballinrobe (13f, good) 82 days ago. May do better still.
Mergus Serrator (IRE)
Has made a bright start, taking another step forward from the form displayed in maidens when fifth on handicap debut at Down Royal (13f) 39 days ago, despite not being ideally placed. Remains one to be interested in back in a maiden.
New Bay Star (IRE)
Fair maiden who produced just about his best effort yet when losing out narrowly in a 4-runner Kempton maiden (11f) in January. Acquired by new connections for 45,000 gns thereafter and he's a rare Irish runner for shrewd yard. One to monitor closely in the betting.
Will You Stop (IRE)
Saxon Warrior gelding who is progressing gradually, posting a creditable fourth of 11 in a Curragh maiden (1¼m, good to firm, 10/1) 33 days ago. Steps up in trip now and he's not out of things.
Galileo Springs (IRE)
Modest winner at 17f over hurdles last year who ran to a similar level when sixth on debut in this sphere in a Roscommon maiden (10.3f) in May. Probably one for handicaps. RESERVE.
It's Good To Talk (IRE)
Fair form in bumpers but well held in 2 Flat maidens. RESERVE.
Four Ball (IRE)
